I remember watching a person who had spms doing cartwheels across a ballroom floor after being on the Cari Loader treatment only a week. As we now know it was all placebo, and the 50 or so others who thought they were cured were also experiencing a placebo result. Also, doctors seem to express opinions regarding treatments, without justifying that opinion, or elucidating the reason for that position. Im on anticoagulants(Warfin)......haven't noticed my MS improve.

Placebo effect?? I thought that Tysabri would make me better - didn't work. Then I had some scepticism about Venoplasty, I had it and I have been more well than I have been in 4 years - I am now 5 weeks past procedure and me and my friends/family are still amazed! Sure placebo may be true in some cases but seriously SERIOUSLY!! I agree too I would have 4 venoplasties if I had to! Kerri x

Dear Maria, I always wonder why I didn't have the placibo effect with Tysabri...I do believe in the power of our minds and if the neurologists believe that we can get better by ourself using our minds, why are we taking drugs, then? Why can't we use our minds to get better??? These doctors are telling us that out minds are so strong...so do they tell us to take dangerous drugs like Tysabri and so on???

Thanks for stating that about NO ONE DIED from treating CCSVI. He did not die, but did have open heart surgery. He lived, The person that did was due, as you stated to the blood thinners. I hope EVERYONE states that in every video. :) I am against stents too. I would rather have a redo of angio plasty. Stents, if used need to be perfected. Zamboni right . .he is an angel and my hero. :)

I am with Kerri. I thought tysabri was going to make me better and it didn't. I was SURE I was going to walk better after my third infusion....14 infusions later, and no placebo effect!

If placebo effects were so effective, we would all be taking placebo meds....nuts
