Like you said it is happening more and more. I did find an IR and had my doppler and MRV, had reflux on both juglars! Having the angio on the 14th of this month. Oh, I am so like you! I don't want to take Tysabri much longer than the two years (I will have my 21st infusion two days before my trip) and I hope that my next treatment with be the liberation! We have the same idea about this! I am sorry that you didn't have a good experience with the site that you used to get MS people together in your area. I hope that, some time soon, the liberation will be possible in your area. Keep your spirit pumped and happy and you will achieve your goal! Hugs
So good to see you Maria! Way to go with the steps, you made me think of something - what are my goals where this thing is concerned? Im just tapering off of steroids. Walking better, but will I have to keep on taking them? I think I need to have some goals too. Im not sure why I never thought of it, maybe Im just discouraged, I have medicaid, people have the tendency to treat you like nothing. I dont know what is available. It's great to see you, keep on pushing you will get your liberation!

You look great! Fingers crossed for your goals. I am after my 17th Ty infusion. I should be after about 20th (i don't know exactly because I postponed it a few times and got my infusion even 2 month later than I should have taken. why? because I wanted to check out what would happen if i took my infusion so much later. and? Nothing has happened.) I am 7 months after my liberation treatment. I've been suffering from ms for almost 10 years, so..to be continued..
Hi Maria! I'm an old lady with MS (lol, I'm 45) and I live in Kentucky. I am working on following some of Denise's suggestions on getting someone local to look at me. She gave me several Irishbear area names. I am on the far Eastern End of KY, but I wonder about U of L? Lets get something started! I'm tired of being sick.
I currently have four months' worth of unopened boxes of Avonex. The VA (Veteran's Admin Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH) neurologists haven't even heard of Tysabri, much less CCSVI, The syringes don't come with the injector clicky thing and ...fear of side effects and procrastination is ...yeah, fail. I went blind in one eye over a year ago and was told that I was SOL. BUT my MRI shows a blockage in my optic nerve. I don't even know...sigh.
:oP to the trolls. Just ignore those silly people - seriously if they are not helping you in reaching your goal give them the big "whatever." Good goal about 2 years btw. Yes I can vouch for better vision after the procedure - it is illuminating :o) I hope you get to that really good place Maria way before 24 months, Kerri x

Hi Maria, First to be totally superficial - you look GORGEOUS! Have you lost more weight? not that you didn't always- maybe I just missed ya! Going off tysabri is a good goal - I'm planning on doing the same once I'm sure this diet/lifestyle is really making a difference for me (I'm sure it is doing me good - but I also know tysabri is responsible for me' walking again). it's a big scary decision. To risk sounding like a 'troll' - have you thought about diet as a possible 'cure'? I'm convinced
so... my brain damages could be big enough. I am not sure how things look like now in my brain, but now after those 7 months each day i feel better. See my last video! I am trying to run! And I haven't been running for 10 years! It is awesome! I would like to give up taking my Tysabri (U know, I have to buy it by my own each month...I can't afford it!), but I am afraid a bit about what would happen if i stop my Ty for good, so now I want to take one infusion every...2-3months......
I don't feel I still need it, but I am afraid of leaving it totally. You know what I mean? I am not sure what is the cause of my remyelinisation. Is it procedure? or Tysabri? even my doc doesn't know it. Take care!
