I went behind the scenes at this years 2024 Tour de Suisse Women's and got the chance to meet on of my hero's Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig! The video is quite shaky because my emotions were also going wild -- it was impossible to hold the camera still :D
I first heard of Cecilie when I saw her dead-fish interview years ago, long before I started cycling and remember being so moved by her energy and the emotions she wasn't afraid to share with the world. Now given then chance, I had to ask her: in a world where sometimes emotions are considered a weakness, how does she turn her emotions into a superpower?!
I also had to ask her what kind of advice she had for us "normal" cyclists when it comes to climbing and once again - Cecilie inspired me to embrace the experience, to love the climb and be one with the mountain and the legs.
