The slingshot is a Sky ride which throws you in the air and flips over, like a humongous version of those trampolines at county fairs. It is almost the size of the top thrill dragster

This park is on my "Things I must do before I die" list.

I was at CP on opening day 2014! I was only 10 years old and I rode front seat rides on Dragster, Millennium Force, Mantis, Raptor, Magnum, Wicked Twister, and Gemini. I was very brave!

THE best roller coaster park in the work. No one does it like Cedar Point. I haven't been there in years. Last time I was there the Mellinium force was brand new.

me and my kids are going in July has part of our road trip....will be there from the 13th till the 16th. We are from Missouri and will be our first time there...very excited

I went today, and I rode 7 roller coasters! Everybody thought it was gonna rain, so nobody barely came. The longest wait was 30 minutes!!! I rode 3 new rides today that I haven't rode before. Before I've rode others like Maverick, Raptor, Corkscrew ( also rode today ) but these, never before. - Wicked Twister -Millenium Force - Magnum XL 200 Millenium Force- I was so freaking scared! We started going up, and I'm like, "Crap! WHAT THE HECK WAS I THINKING!!!!". And then it started going up, and I said. "HECK YEAH! LETS DO THIS!" And threw my hands up. I had my hands up the whole time and I loved it. I feel like I can conquer anything. :D Magnum XL 200- I was really excited to ride it. I knew what it was like since I've seen the POVS, but none of my cousins and sister did! We started getting out of the little gates of the coaster, and started going up. My cousin and sister said, "WHAT! THAT IS OUR HILL!!!! I NEVER WOULD'VE AGREED TO DO THIS!" And I just told them it would be okay. And I put my hands up the whole time. It was fun! Then I went again and got front seat. Hands UPPPPP!!! Wicked Twister- I know this is stupid, but this was the scariest to me. It felt really weird! I still liked it, but not my fave. HEAD BACK, HANDS UPPPP, AND ENJOY THE RIDE!

8:54 the best part about Mantis is that second inversion. This one after the loop you bank left then do this amazingly huge flying maneuver. This part makes the rest of the pain worth it.

Oh my god... Wicked twister and Skyhawk were actually running! And Mean Streak had a full train! That's practically unheard of!

The old rollercoasters like the Mean streak are the scariest in my opinion they are so rough, and they jerk you around so much, I went on pretty much all the rides last year except for the dragster.

I am going next Sunday and Monday (Memorial day) and I am excited. I am so excited to ride gatekeeper again.

Nice job shooting this. I appreciate you keeping the shots static as the rides went past and not panning with the ride. This helps show a sense of speed. Well done! And great editing as well. :) I haven't been to the Point in almost 10 years. The last newest ride I went on was Maverick. That's how long it's been for me :( Living in California, and now Texas has kept me away for too long. I am planning a trip back there this summer or fall....here's hoping.

Just got back from a 2 hour drive from Cedar Point. The last ride of the night before closing was Millennium Force, there were gnats and bugs in the trees and all the riders started getting pelted by the bugs in the face before the camera went off. All the pictures showed everyone covering their faces with their hands and tucking their mouths in their shirts lol. My sister in law had her mouth open and caught a few :)

I'm going Tuesday! Can't wait

What would be awesome for next year if they put the Blue Streak train on backwards, or even better idea would be to retrack the Mean Streak and get rid of that trim brake on the lift to restore it's original speed but make it smoother like the Outlaw Run style tracking.

When during the day was the blue side of Gemini running? every time I saw it the red side was the only side running.

Thanks for this video. It's great as always. Good to see how everything looks. I'm glad Skyhawk is completely fine now, as well as mean streak, and the water shooting on Maverick. The lighting looks amazing and the paint looks great as well(even if they didn't repaint much). Gemini's midway looks great too, except I don't like Monster's new colors but oh well. I also though Pipe Scream's colors could have been a little better. I don't know how I feel about the signs for the rides over there either. Monster's seems a bit odd for the feel of the park but I guess it's alright. And Pipe Scream's seems generic. Nice video editing too. I like some of the techniques you used.

Once again a super insight, the special I find with you, that you not only see the roller coasters, but does each small moments that you do not actually see, since you usually only see the roller coasters in many videos. What do you think better in the dark or during the day? Why?

Not sure if I like Pipe Scream just from the look of it...I road Surf Dog at Kings Island and it's longer and seems more intense...I think length helps the intensity of the ride. Don't know if that addition was worth it, but then again hopefully the children enjoy it most.

Looks like you had a great time! What roller coasters did you ride? I went to CP on May 25, 2014. I have rode all the coasters except Dragster and Millenium Force. My favorite is the Maverick. Whats your favorite?

I heard this park was more fun than both the Disney parks. I have never being here but I have been to both Disneyland and Disney World and didn't think that anything could top them, what do you think?

I swear it was called The Spider, and The Witches Wheel, but those 2 rides have been there since I been going as a kid back in 1991. I went on The Magnum the year it opened, and I cried my eyes out holding onto my mother rofl! Still to this day I ride the Witches Wheel, and Spider, plus every ride even the bullshit carnival ones, because thats what we were kids/teens. We would always go on the train at night to see the skeletons!! Its an attraction along side the track that runs from the station located near the Mean Streak. I forgot the name, but its the old west theme area.
