The odds were definitely in Magda's favor. One of those players and the Nadu player were consistently dealt with, but I knew the moment the dragon hit the board before worrying about a clock that was potentially infinite damage and a flying blocker. My Magda deck fetches the Mycosynth Lattice and Clock of Omens to have infinite treasure, tap, and untap artifact dwarves. It slots in some really greedy plays like Vandal Blast. Sometimes, there are more than enough artifacts that I can fetch. Hellkite Tyrant, players pass the end step to me and win the game on upkeep. Ragavan and Dockside basically win games independently, and the deck is insane. Even more insane is that the deck is less than 300 dollars and still competitive. No one needs a ridiculous amount of fast manna because the rest of the deck is already fast.
I was the talion player, and I 100% agree. I was way too focused on the nadu player and the statue messed up my line pretty badly. It was my first time playing against Magda.
@@mstermind14290 Yeah I understand the worry of it getting out of hand too fast but I also think every player has focused in on a threatening commander like that as well. It’s just part of learning the game. A rite of passage even lol
