On Saturday, July 6, 2024, we joined Tom Todd to celebrate 2SLGBTQIA+ diversity and Pride! The Vancouver Pride Parade and Festival, taking place from July 26th to August 6th, honours the two-spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, and aromantic communities. Originating from the Stonewall Riots in 1969, Pride has grown globally, with Vancouver's first protest in 1973 now including events like the Dyke March and the Trans, Two-Spirit, Genderqueer, Intersex March.
Tom Todd, a young queer person of faith, grew up with both Eastern Orthodox and Quaker influences but now finds home in Interfaith spaces. He is in the process of establishing a queer Interfaith group in Vancouver. Join us in celebrating love, diversity, and inclusion!
