RJ ... I so relate about the swimming. I was about 6 and we were visiting the lake. I was splashing with my cousins near the shore. It was just hip deep... but accidently stepped off a sandbar and went under. I kept struggling to get to the surface. The adults didn't hear or see me at first with all the others playing. I trulyvknow what theyvmean by going down for the 3rd time. Luckily it was then that my uncle noticed and jumped in to pull me out. My parents put me in swimming classes the next summer. I was still very scared of the deep end. As long as I can touch bottom and stand up it was fine. To graduate the swimming had to jump off the board and swim from the deep end to the shallow end. I did it but didn't enjoy it. I just swam as fast as I could to the shallow part in a panic. Later in life I came to peace with it on my own. I started in the shallow end and the pool edge and use my hands to kind of guide myself to the bottom. I realized it was the feeling of the water pressing on me that triggers me from the drowning. So if I got too scared I knew I could have the securityvof thevwall to guide me back up. I kept doing that until I could sit calmly on the bottom and look around or briefly meditate. Then I moved to doing it in the deep end. That was almost like starting over because there was the panic of knowing that if I stood up my head wouldn't immediately be out of the water... and the pressure feeling was stronger too... but I just repeated what I did before... and eventuslly I could just stand calmly on the bottom. I love swimming much more now.⁶
Ang ganda po ng place nyo sir mikey.gigising ka ng fresh air, nice vibes, with the sound of pure nature.sarap mag relax naka upo sa labas tapos nagkakape.relaxing ang pool, at mahilig din po kayo sa mga halaman at tanim, gathering with friends and enjoy the view. Sooooo cooool your have your own museum.
@@illustrado0677 i know it's a farm. what I'm trying to say is, because of his love for animals and wildlife in general, i wouldn't be surprised if he suddenly decides to build a zoo.
It’s nice to know that RJ’s family (Muslim by faith) also accepts and respects love relationship of LGBTQIA+…. It goes to show that with true love, you can move mountains…. Love love love you both Mickey and RJ…❤❤❤
Mikey, @9:06 It is "Cosmos caudatus." According to wikipedia, "it is edible and its common names include kenikir (Indonesia) or ulam raja (in Malaysia, calqued as "the King's salad"). In Indonesian cuisine and Malaysian cuisine the leaves of this plant are used for salad. In Brunei, it was usually served with sambal (chilli paste) together with the local cuisine, ambuyat. It was brought by the Spaniards from Latin America, via the Philippines, to the rest of Southeast Asia. Ulam, a Malay word used to describe a preparation that combines food, medicine, and beauty, is a widely popular Malay herbal salad that is served throughout the country from major hotels for tourists to buffet lunches or dinners for the locals." You can look it up and confirm 100% that it is Cosmos Caudatus.

Yes! Be very cautious when you walk around your yard! Snakes might be lurking around, please be careful when Sahara and cypher are out in the yard! They are tiny and could be eaten😞
Very interesting to know about these Muslim holidays. Only came to know about them from your guests. And wow! The Mabuhay Farm House really hosts guests of diverse cultures, status in life, and religious affiliations. Wonderful!
How exciting about the aviary! I adore song birds. My favorites are cardinals and eastern towhees because their songs are absolutely beautiful and they have so many different calls and songs. I think the parrots will enjoy an outside aviary. As long as they have everything they need to be happy i think it'll be a good idea.
Hi Mikey and Rj!! I believe the channel gained subscribers and reached the 300k mark because of you being featured in Ms Karen Davila's RU-vid channel. So we're grateful for that. Can't wait for the channel to reach the 500k mark then the 1M mark. Have a great day and take care y'all!! ❤🥰
I know what you mean about 'dipping your head under water'. I feel the same every time I dive under a wave where I live in Australia. It makes you feel so energised.
Hi sir mikey and Ryan I recently subscribed your vlogs for only one reason… you are so humble and you showing the entire house doesn’t make me and my partner feel that’s it’s impossible to dream and built our own nest. Such an inspiration. While we are waiting to build our home i wish you to continue inspire us
I like the Botanical rants, I learn so much through them Yay Melody, for being on her way to a clean bill of health & the new critters too cute family tour, thanks RJ for sharing them with us
Hi Mikey and RJ. Nice to see you guys again and welcome RJs family. I so much enjoyed the dogs getting used to the pool 😄. I can’t wait to see the new averies. Good idea !!!!🫶🏽🫶🏽
That looks like parsley that has bolted. I want to create a pond in my back yard too but it;s difficult here in Northern California because of the drought we've had. So I enjoy seeing your garden pond.
Welcome to the Mabuhay Squad Farm House, Billions! Love the name. Love to see RJs family from Mindanao and the kulintang. Mikey, you need to learn how to play that instrument. Good job Britney and Rizal. Sahara, you must join your brother! Yes, it's Canada Day long weekend. I'm just chilling and resting in my rented room while watching videos including this. Happy one year in the awesome farm house, Mikey and RJ🎉 It's been an amazing year though.
Wow that's a great instrument the KULINTANG that will be great when u have dance preaentations representing MINDANAO...i salute ur hospitality RJ and Mikey.. Happy Canada Day to u in Philippines...
Glad that you will be neutering Melody soon! Female cats can go in heat every 3-4 weeks which means she can attract male cats again and get pregnant again. When in heat, she might disappear and come back to you pregnant again😅.
I just LOVE it when you have friends/family visit! And your bigger dogs were so brave going on the dog walk in the pool. I'm glad updated your intro. I love it!
9:06 is called “cosmos” in tagalog(i know its english haha 😂). “onwad” sa mga tiga ifugao. Turay turay in bisaya i think As far as i know old people believes that it has anti aging property..

Hi Mikey - I think the herb your mom planted is Angelica - it's a tall plant that you can use to candy the stalks and the roots are used in Chinese medicine. Wow, a year there already, crazy huh!

The new intro is so perfectly on point as you have achieved the final goal of the first original intro when you were starting to showcase the farm house, well done! Happy Canada Day from Toronto🇨🇦
Looks like the mabuhay squad farm house will be having some new pet faces in the future then when you take in those animals that were offered to you who need a new home. Interested to see how you'll be setting up the enclosure for the sugar glider once it arrives. I'm guessing it will be be a large and darkened room with really dim light? Since I have seen set-ups like that before to simulate nighttime in the morning. Zoos often have that lighting for nocturnal animals so visitors can see them behave like they'll do in the wild, while they shine sa bright light in the enclosure at night to simulate daytime so the nocturnal animals can go to sleep. Is a red-eared slider the species of turtle that will be added to the pond? Since they're mostly aquatic in contrast to the Amboina Box Turtle, which is semi-aquatic but are poor swimmers.
i so prefer the finished pool the shape of the origanal design was a bit off. it continues to be a delight to see the house full of people. yup! you were living on a bulding site for about 6 months, but it was interesting viewing. took my dog 25 mins in a specail dog pool to learn to love swimming, but they will want to be with you
I love 💕 the new intro and the Angel Wings on the bathroom door. Nice to see RJ’s family. That beef looked so tasty. Nice humans & Animals learn to swim. God Bless you all 🙏🏽
Animal sanctuary as a next project, maybe? We've adopted my brother's Golden Retriever as he and his family are moving to Canada. But they want to bring him over eventually. I live in the province love the surrounding area when it rains. It turns so green and lush, and certain plants bloom. So lovely. With every vlog post that includes a tour, I can probably do the tour for Mikey haha.
