Take a never-before-seen look at the history of one of aviation's fastest-growing, most successful aircraft in its class as Cirrus Aircraft celebrates its 500th Vision Jet.
Although I will probably never be able to afford a vision yet, let alone pay for the operating costs, I really love the concept. Good to see Cirrus being successfull! ❤
Alright now I gotta buy one just to meet such a great group of people ! I'm praying for wisdom to overcome the $2 million potential stumbling blocks between here & there ! God bless your amazing team of craftsman & ladies 💪. The idea of a capable single engine jet an owner can fly themselves, with family & friends safely, is a real breakthrough !
0:16 I learned this concept when I worked at General Motors in the painting area "make it perfect the first time" and other development tools that are current and used in other aspects such as culinary visual production, etc... where review becomes a process faster. I am sensitive to production and painting work because it is very intrinsic to my experience, environmental preparation, application of material trends, and Cirrus always innovates and surprises with its proposals for the colors and shapes used in its aircraft. Excellent work and a pleasure to follow. greetings
What an amazing video! I watched it from beginning to end. I love hearing the backstory of how the company was formed, and the vision that it took to make these aircraft a reality. Very nicely done.
If I had the money and rich I would have a few of these. Growing up in a small town hours away from a major city I would have used this jet once a week for everything.
JUST AWESOME & AMAZING WORK 👏👍👌✨ LOVE the Cirrus range ! My first SF50 flight was AMAZING & those seats 😁 Sooo beautiful 🤗✨ ALL planes need to have inteiors like the Cirrus ! Well done 👍✨
Brilliant work! Congratulations on reaching this milestone, it’s inspirational. From design to engineering I’ve been following for a while just really cool to see.😊
I spend several hours a week flying a Cirrus jet and as good as they are, my only peeve happens when I compare it to my other fave small jet, that being the Cessna 510 Mustang. Some say these are aimed at totally different clients however the Cirrus thrust and hence climb and cruise capabilities significantly limit it's potential. I guess I just love the thrust and getting above the weather extremely quickly. The Cirrus is quite good but not in the same performance league.
great video, incredible story. All aviongeek are excited about their work. just as an observation. The V tail could have an elevator joining the top of the V structure, thus improving the flight dynamics, especially during landing. Vision is a very beautiful aircraft. congratulations
This is a fascinating video and I'm going to ask a serious question that's going to put everybody on their toes but I want to know when you decided and who decided to sell the aircraft brand and name to China?
First I'm not a pilot...but I can tell you I've watched thousand of RU-vid videos about the sr22 and vision that when I talk to GA pilots everyone talks about this company or goes hey look it's a vision... We all have dreams...make them happen
Al things is great in vision jet , but now it's time launch new extended version of vision jet with more range, speed & seats, Just like hondajet did with hondajet 2600.
That's great! Great airplane, great accomplishment! I only have 1 question. Why did you sell out to AVIC China?? Sorry, that just really bugs me. Good luck....
To be more accurate they sold out to Bahrain in 2001. Arcapita sold to China ten years later. So Cirrus did not sell out to China, they sold out to Bahrain much earlier. Either way, it’s a global world and global economy. You can’t create what they did without selling massive shares and getting huge cash infusions and investment. So maybe blame US investment firms that didn’t see the vision?
Are you claiming that you chose a single engine over 2 because it's better? isn't the actual truth that the right size engines weren't available for twin config or that PW610 was overpriced? because the Eclipse config is clearly superior to the Visionjet
