It’s a fantastic game that’s so well made and the movement system is probably one of the best ever, but also I haven’t even beaten Chapter 2 because I got too angry and haven’t played it in a year.
this is a lot of people’s first exposure to modded celeste and i wouldn’t have it any other way with how satisfying the gameplay is, especially the temporal tower segment
Everything I learn about you makes me like you more. The marble blast thing, then I find out you make music, are a furry, are trans, are friends with jan misali, make the same type of content as him, and now I find out you're a god gamer and love celeste. I don't know if it's possible for me to respect you any more than I do right now. I hope to one day grow up to be half as cool as you.

Watching this i realized i didnt even know like half of the intended strats for this level. I spent multiple weeks polishing the TAS of this level, but I never had the skill to beat it in real time. Congrats on beating this crazy level

Dang, I'm glad I never really persevered with this game, this is SO beyond my ability! And as with all displays of great skill, you make it look easy :)
Also, thoughts on Dustforce? Have you tried it? If you like high-skill platformers with fking killer soundtracks it might be worth a look. The harder levels seem to outright demand that you exploit the game engine, I couldn't even understand how some of them were possible. But there are plenty of fun easy levels too, and the harder ones I *could* do were some of the most peaceful, focused zen flow-states I've had.
Wow GG, this is genuinely an impressive achievement, especially bc this is one of Celeste's very hardest modded maps. Any chance you're gonna go through any other mods, or are you gonna leave it now that you've finished the collab?
well i'm definitely going to play strawberry jam when it comes out because it looks like everything good & bad about the spring collab will be multiplied, I played 4 maps in winter collab and i didn't like them very much, haven't been very motivated to return to it.
@@Patricia_Taxxon agree wrt winter collab, i had a go but i think the fact that everything was in one lobby made it feel like i wasnt progressing as well as SC2020 did
OK so not only are you cracked at video essay making and music production but you're also better at celeste than me (the hardest I've done in the GM lobby is like the third screen of Gem Garden) I guess being a furry just predisposes you to being good at things
im gonna let u in on a secret, half the grandmaster lobby is barely harder than the stuff in the expert lobby. like everything up until red difficulty is just expert deluxe, you'll be fine
@@Patricia_Taxxon yeah pretty much. Although i had a pretty hard time beating forest of the ancients since it was so jank (either that or the map wasn't just that fun for me)
Bonkers! Have you played splasher? Really great platformer. Whole moveset is jump, and being able to spray sticky and bouncy ink. It's really well crafted

that checkpoint was actively souring my opinion on the map as a whole with its toxic aura & if i played it any longer i would have given up entirely. this is the only way.
