Ahh yes, Mr. Studio Apron Pollock. That dude's video lives in my head rent-free. Who doesn't love squatting and urinating? It's special if you have cock. But alas, cock no more. But I can definitely use the cock that LACMA has provided us with. If only it snowed all throughout Los Angeles County. I'd be able to make art with synthetic urine! That's the true aesthetic standard! Synthetic urine! We all need it, or we may as well loop the same 1/16 of a bar in Ableton of Paul Joseph Watson saying "SHOCK" until we lose our hearing for good!
editing this to something else with more thought put into it other than a simple "uh-oh", this one feels partially like when you're too sick to move, speak, or even think correctly. simply waiting for it to go away, while feeling constantly drowsy and cold. brain patterns are incoherent but active. closing your eyelids feels like enclosing your eyes in a hot room. moving or eating causes severe nausea/vomiting. you're hungry. guess you'll have to just endure it all in complete and utter immobility until the situation improves
i know nothing about this album or it's creator, but so far* this tickles my brain in such a way that i could listen to it while doing something and remain perfectly focused, not too attention-demanding but not too overwhelming, while being overall fun to listen to *the only reason i'm here is actually because i got recommended a later part of the album. i don't really know what happens in between that part and now, but it appears to get more solemn/desolate? interested to see what happens inbetween
theres a bit around the 20 minute mark that has a kind of leitmotif that sounds like the intro to like a fighting game you would play on newgrounds in like 2005 and that makes me very nostalgic
I have been a musician for over 45 years and I have a great deal of respect for Rick Beato. And I must say that after listening to your pathetic rant here where all you do is criticize and insult a man because of his age(your rude comment about his baby boomer brain, coming from an ignorant millennial brain like yours means really nothing), it’s obvious that your ignorance has blinded you and you really don’t know what the hell you’re talking about. So go ahead and get behind your TikTok social media Poisoning of so called music production. Real musicians can see through all of that BS.
Ah I almost forgot to comment. This is really good. It feels much shorter than it actually is. Watching this together with the movie was a nice chilling experience. Pretty mediatory. The sounds from the film helped to amplify the music. The music changes ever so slightly over time just like the clouds. Keep going with this!
Imagine thinking that having access to a music making program online, and a youtube account, gives you the experience and authority to confidently proclaim a music producer and sound engineer of 30+ years is a clown who knows nothing about his field. Get a fucking grip, dude. Dislike him and disagree if you want; that's your option, but don't act like you're in the same league, let alone his superior in this field because you popped out a few raggedy, incoherent, shitty tracks my 6 year old nephew could have made. Next time you punch up, at least give the target you're aiming for a 5 minute google search before stepping into the ring. Might make you look like less of a fucking goober.
Idiocracy is a deeply liberal film. Its main character is a perfect microcosm of what it believes; if Mike Judge can tell that something's wrong with an idea, then it's wrong, but if he doesn't really see anything wrong with it after mulling it over for a couple seconds, then it's fine.
Doesn't know anything about music creation or production? I think I'm going to trust the guy who's had around 30+ years in the industry, and still to today has many of those connections, over the guy who is too scared to put his face out and hides behind some weird anthropomorphic cat
After a lot of thinking, I can finally say this album is, for me, like running my hand along iron bars (autistically). Definitely my favourite from the catalogue!
I've been playing Celeste daily, recently (beating about 1 b-side per day) and this music has accompanied me since about halfway through chapter 8. The game's incredible, and so is the music. This as well as Agnes & Hilda have been playing in the background every time i beat a screen, or get a new heart. This all serves the purpose of training to beat Farewell, which will no doubt be the hardest thing I've ever done. I'll also be using this comment as a way to mark my progress, once I've beaten something with this music in the background, I'll edit this comment to include it. Current list: The Core (530x💀) Celestial Resort B-side (796x💀) Golden Ridge B-side (962x💀) Mirror Temple B-side (625x💀) Reflection B-side (959x💀) The Summit B-side (2110x💀) It's far from finished, but i hope it includes Farewell someday. (7/3/24) Beat 6B today, also added death count to the list. (7/4/24) No additions to the list today, but i did get the 7A crystal heart and got to the final screen of 1000m on 7B. (541 deaths so far, yikes.) (7/5/24) 7B remains unbeaten, I've gotten to the second screen of 2500m though. (1073 deaths so far.) (7/6/24) HOLY SHIT 7B BEAT! I think the only thing I've done that could even compare to this is beating the Radiance in Hollow Knight. (7/7/24) I've tried 8B and there's this one room at the very start of the 2nd subchapter that is straight up unfair and unfun, i hate it. It made me genuinely furious for perhaps the first time in the game.
as a straight white neurotypical heterosexual cisgender male, watching this was a very interesting experience. i still don't think I understand what a furry is and I'm not sure whether or not i still think suggestive furry art is weird. a lot of the different arguments didn't really connect in a way i was able to understand. but i like idm music so ill probably still check our your techdog series
this is a bit late. but 7th beat games also made one of my favorite rhythm games; a dance of fire and ice! i would really reccomend playing it or even making levels/songs for levels!
