@@cuteperry9325 Please, Mariah is a never was. Anyone with even a basic understanding of music and vocal technique knew Mariah's career wouldn't last long, and we were fucking right. She couldn't move past her one go-to move of whistle squeeling and you morons ate it up. Her vocals had no substance, her music was never any good, and her career was a short-lived joke. Mariah is not a member of the trinity. Never has been, never will be. Only retarded Mariah fans think that. Beyonce, Celine Dion, and Whitney Houston. We have two left.
Wow your comment here is literally one of the dumbest things i've ever read on the internet. Mariah IS a part of the vocal trinity's and what did you mean a short-lived career? She's still very much relevant to this day and it's just crazy how you worded it as if it's a real fact smh. Nothing surprising really to encounter a bitter anti-fan but at least educate yourself with facts first before dropping a dumbass comment like this for whatever reason it might be. Mariah did not get that Singing Supreme's title for nothing if it's not for her exceptional singing 😑😑😑
This is just showing how her headvoice can go to the max and higher. Every little vocal thing she does is amazing. As for the nasel thing, we quebcoises has nasel sounding voices when speaking or singing, especially in english.
I am a proud Quebecer who adores our Celine. We from Quebec feel like she is our little girl who grew up to be a true true super star and a one of a kind Diva.. Class and beauty and a true kindness in her heart!
When all the other kids were listening to God knows what, I insisted on Celine's "A New Day.." album 2002 even though it was $28 and I was 9. I have literally never looked back. There truly is nothing like, nor will there ever be, another voice like Celine Dion.
She just took us to church, standing there in white in the spotlight looking like an angel...yes ma'am! I must be mirroring your look of bewilderment right now, but you're right she is far from nasalie I think it's her thick accent that is throwing some people off. I'm scared to watch her because I never know from which direction she's gonna come at me. I love this woman, she is definitely in a league of her own, she never disappoints! 💖
Mariah/Whitney/Celine it's impossible . Mariah is my favourite but choosing who is the best is impossible. The 3 ladies respected/respect each other...why can't we? "CALL THE MAN" is Celine's gospel song and I love it sooo blody much.
Ive seen a lot of your videos critiquing Celine's voice "not sounding like anyone's" and you're right. She's trained her vocals to be uniquely hers. I don't think anyone will ever come close to vocal prowess and musicality. I am very grateful for her music growing up. She's given so much variety in music and I find her gospel pop music very soothing to hear as it pierces 30 vocals behind her and the instrument and thunder clouds! What a mood she created at that ending!
As a Céline fan I can assure you there are performances that would let you even more impressed than this one (okay, ''Call the Man'' is really the best song on FIY), but PLEASE, DON'T DIE BEFORE REACTING TO THESE: 1- Only One Road (on "The Tonight Show'' 1994) 2- All By Myself (on ''The Tonight Show'' 1996) [the most underappreciated live of this song] 3- The Greatest Love of All (1987) 4- Saving All My Love For You (1986) 5- If You Ask Me To (The Arsenio Hall Show 1992)
Her microphone technique is awesome and she doesn't show off her enormous gift but uses it like an instrument. Manhattan Transfer would do that a lot but she took it to another level with her talent.
Miss Celine Dion in this performance is Godly amazing. She is singing way above human, she is calling out to God. I love her :) Please react to Ave Maria by Celine, promise that you will be touched by an angel
Celine Dion is A Masterclass of Greatest Performance!!!! She is A Truly PHENOMENON AND A TALENTED GLOBAL SUPREME DIVA!!!!! SHE BEST VOCALIST BELTED AND RUNNER OF ALL TIMES!!!.... SORRY but is TRUTH...
I have been a Celine Dion fan for over 20 years. The first cassette I ever bought was "Falling into you" by Celine Dion. Celine is a real Diva and is amazing. She also is very professional. You should hear Falling into you, is beautiful.
I know of your love for the GREAT Whitney. After her tragic death, Celine payed tribute to her at the Grammy's with "The greatest love of all" . She said she could not sing it like her but wanted to tell of how Whitney was the greatest inspiration to all the singers like herself who came after. I think you will appreciate it very much.
It's that French Canadian accent that I am and also have. Celine in 2020 is one of the few left that have that humility and the voice and the heart that goes on to be one of the ICONS, Love this song and Celine! This is white Aretha gospel music!
Please react to Celine's "With this tear", written by Prince especially for her, also great is "Just Walk Away" and 'Only one road". I'll love you forever ... luv your reactions and kudos from another French Canadian who has had the great honor of seeing her sing live 3 times. xoxo
you picked the right one (it's live!) and so great. that song is so beautiful! another performance that proves she is very much deserving of her legendary status. thank you.
@@atolm1 There is another live one from Memphis 1997 which is slightly worse vocally and also the head voice parts in the end are cut short, also a lipped one from an award show which im glad wasnt chosen
One her most beautiful performance. Her head voice and resonance really stand on par here with the best of her other performances. I felt like a spiritual bringing came forth with everything from the African choir, to the rain/thunder and her vocals bring forth such a captivating atmosphere.
Just came across this song 23 yrs later..in 2019 of april/may...and when I heard it, I couldn't stop listening, and stopping it to replay... Ce'line Dion has a Phenomenal voice..I just love listening to her songs...but I fell in love w/ "Call The Man" 🙌
Falling into you is on par with Let’s talk about life as my favorite albums from this impeccable songstress and this song _ has a lot of feels to it! She’s good at commanding a choir with her vocals and that’s a skill all on your own to have
What really amazes me about her singing is how smooth her transitions are... impressive runs and riffs. Celine must be the Queen of runs, riffs and melismas. Mariah is he Queen of whistle notes and Whitney the Queen of Queens!!!
This woman has so many great songs mainstream wise, but she has a lot of songs that are underrated and beautiful especially from her Falling Into You album. Call the Man and Fly are just emotionally charged Celine at her gospel best. I love it. The African chant choir and storm in the end adds a very spiritual feel to this beautiful performance.
Yaaasss!! This is one of my favorite songs by my all time favorite artist, my reaction was very similar. Mind blown! Somehow her live performances are better than the original tracks! Check out her live performance in Boston of “The Power of Love” the last high note she hits is unbelievable. Also there’s a video of her signing “I surrender” in 2007 I believe when she was in Vegas the first time, and she holds a note at the end for damn near 45 seconds. It’s remarkable!! She leaves me in awe everyday with her talent!
Awesome video man. Please react to celine dion think twice live in arnhem 2017. Its 100% live and she hits all the notes perfectly fine. (the channel is wvmusic)
ChrisTheAppleOne yeah thats true, she missed the 'no no no'. And i agree her june 15th performance was good but i feel like she held a bit back that night. Her arnhem performance sounds way better imo because she did hit the notes better and she let loose on her voice which sounds amazing!
I've always thought this was a sensational tribute to our blue-collared friends the Plumbers and Electricians. She looks very stylish with this hairstyle. Sing Saylene! One of my fav performances from her!
No one sounds like that because she's Celine. Lol... But as someone mentions people whose native tongue is not english, tend to live in their upper register. Even more so those who learn the language phonetically. I love Celine.
Haha, that was me as a child, sitting right in front of the TV, passionately involved in any talent I was seeing! Was always being told that sitting so close to the TV was bad for your eyesight. 😅
she has such a big voice that she never did use all of it, i truly believe her voice could do it all, but she mostly chose her chest voice because it was her best asset
Thank you again for another CD reaction! I love her and I always wait for your reactions! Can u please react to "Tout Le bLues Son ecrit por toi" from this current tour? Specially in Paris? There are some UNBELIEVEBLE NOTES THERE!
