Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck said the Ime Udoka incident with a team staffer appears to be an isolated one and not part of a larger problem within the organization.
@@nicke4real I guess more details came out that he was harassing her after they ended, ok, then that is justified. When reported, it seemed like it was consensual, then my comment was that it was not an equal punishment if he was the only one suspended.
Why is the owner talking about his “personal beliefs” if they did an investigation? Either the investigation showed that there was nothing going on or it showed other things. “It’s my personal belief that this was one of a kind” That’s a billionaire talking. Imagine what other “personal beliefs” he has about the business he owns.
My guess is he promoted a woman staffer to a position that others within the Boston team did not believe she was qualified for. I’m sure this investigation was about her moving up the ladder using her relationship with Ime. My wife’s company just had a board member fired because he promoted a woman that they found him to be in a relationship with.
It’s only “one of a kind” because Ime was smashing the vice president of finance’s wife. This happens every day everywhere. Whatever your moral stance is it’s irrelevant. This is what people do because of their biological imperative. If Ime was smashing just some regular woman in that staff it wouldn’t even be news. This entire charade needs to stop. If people are going to be held accountable it’s shouldn’t just be Ime Udoka.
Kathleen the women that decided to sleep with Udoka gets a pass in this situation. It’s all because she’s white and plays the innocent card. The owners are using their power to point this blame towards Udoka and go on to suspend him but not the women involved as well. It has to do with the women having very close ties to Danny ainge and that’s what this is all about. Putting all the blame towards Udoka to point a image that this women was used and was a victim to try to save her broken marriage. If I was the husband of the women I would immediately file for divorce and seek for custody as well. Marriage is sacred and once that is broken it is broken for good. It goes to show that the husband was not respected enough to decided to have a affair so the fact that Udoka got suspended for a year it’s all due to saving this women’s marriage to paint the picture that she was a victim of manipulation through power from Udoka having that level of stage and seniority that’s what this is all about. The owner has a family relationship with Danny Ainge so of course he will not get rid of the women. I feel bad for Udoka and there is a reason why he has decided not to speak on this matter to let time go because he holds the answers that everyone has been seeking for. Innocent white girl married with three kids decided to mutually to sleep with Udoka it doesn’t matter what happened before that at all because she agreed to have sex with Udoka.
It's one of a kind because it was the VP's wife and the husband pushed this publicly but I his wife still has her job?(which is rumored to deal with financial responsibilities in the organization)
No follow up on why this was "one of a kind?" Was Udoka smashing every chick in the organization thereby impregnating a few here and there?? Reporters do your job!
