I don’t really have a problem with you using CS the way you did. Both in terms of lore AND gameplay this is the exact sort of thing you’re SUPPOSED to use them for.
Yup they're meant to be use anyway. Is just that people got big pride and ego not to use them 🤣🤣. I use CS in all the challenge and sometime revive if i have to haha.
Rule of thumb: It is OKAY to use Command Spells. What makes you think otherwise is the false belief of "you're stronger when you don't use any in a fight" when this is literally a single player game. Use it whenever you want it or need it.
LB Cerunnos battle be like: you want to end this chapter? you want free quests? you want free Saint Quartz? think again fcker. *slaps Cerunnos on you* you wont get sht today.
@@BigMynah I had a double Castoria setup with Squirtoria and all of them were constantly looping their NPs. I still had to use 2 leyline stones because this curse spam is absolute bullshit
I love how Cu’ is such a true to form badass in fgo. His battle continuation is basically him refusing to die as opposed to servants like Spartacus and Leonidas who just held out for a long time. His death in ubw is a great example of this, after that guts goes off he’s basically dead on his feet but taking you with him
In his mythology, he was mortally injured by a cursed spear, tied himself to a rock (in some versions of the story _using his own guts as a rope_ ) and continued to defend Ulster against the Connaught army for several hours. Even once he finally stopped moving and an enemy general came to confirm his death, his raised sword-arm fell down and cut off the general's hand. This was all after his enemies had already deprived him of a good portion of his power by forcing him to break his geasa, by the way.
@@stug6974 its said in his last moments he cut the head of the one who tried to take his own head as a trophy and proof that he was dead rather than a hand
It's like in UBW he fought the control of the command seal that Kirei used on him and killed Kirei even after being stabbed by his own spear that's the scene where I truly came to respect Cu he fought against his own mater Cs and protected Rin
[2nd Edit] Doesn't even matter anymore the dot can't kill you at the end now. Another simple way to avoid using the CS at the end is to use the Command Code that removes dots and heals you. Honestly beyond me why I didn't think of that at the time [Edit] Also you have to use story support here.
The reason you used the Seal is because those drains can actually kill you even at the end of the fight right? Don't blame you this is the big boogyman of this chapter from what I've seen. You still got this out pretty fast.
You can't stun him, he hits crazy hard, he needs some stall and he floods you in debuffs. But more importantly HE ROTATES MENACINGLY Caster Cu: I know a guy.
As someone who just started like a week and a half ago in JP. (Currently in Okeanos), I will be terrified once I get to this point in the game but I have time.
@@UncleMerlin i mean, this is a full f2p team, it isn't completely budget, but it sure is f2p. This lostbelt is incredibly far into the game, people should stop treating it like you'd get here with nothing but 3 stars.
@@UncleMerlin There's no story replay so there's no way to do that. Also this setup is more than F2P for anyone so far into the game. And a lot of he untis can be replaced with other similar units.
I don't see people saying this is impossible but quite hard to do a f2p setup without using cs or having insane good rng. Even for a whale setup you still need to have a proper setup for it than just brainless buff your dps
The more things change. The more cu stays the same(on top) Also congratulations to cu prototype for getting a buff. He finnaly got something (but not sure hit)
I really wish the Quick buff was 30% and lasted 3T just so that he had respectable damage on quick cards for a while. I would be okay with Ignore Def if DW actually used Def up more often instead of Special defense (Which Ignore Def does NOT ignore)
I was watching a lot of people do it and I knew its was going to take a lot of effort trying to keep it budget. also that healing CS at the end I really felt that. you can actually die after killing him and lose like who thought that was a good idea. also I feel sorry for you the other day chat was being extremely toxic it ruined the fun
Well.. dang, I did not know that could happen if you died even after defeating him lol. Good to know. Also, what exactly happened with the chat? If I may ask
@@starkillerjedi5486 honestly his chat is the reason his streams are not enjoyable. like you say they spoil stuff which causes him to mald and when he does it ruins the fun for both him and everyone, not blaming green for it ofc
I'm just imagining Cu jumping and shooting his spear right on Cernunos's core while Castoria gives all her supports when watching this vid. Great work.
I still don’t find his roster to be f2p friendly this time (He had to use 2 kscope and a Percival to keep core members - Cu and Castoria - alive to the last bar). The Black Grail could be replaced with other CEs if 3rd append skill is maxed out, but that’s about it Wait is 3rd append skill and another CE enough to even be comparable to MLB Black Grail?
This is great, One CS is nothing compared to using a team filled with OP supports, I know you'll make an even better video/stream of this fight later. maybe... who knows... But this is one of the most beautiful clears of Cernunnos.
When I saw you mashing the Chips Passive on Cu at the end I was just laughing, I got the same way when I couldn't max my Gareth (still can't cause fuck rng)
I couldn't even brute force more than one of gareth's passives by burning all the fp I got from nerofest. it's kind of insane how long it will take to get all three
@@theelementalists2506 yeah, it's gonna take a while. At least she isn't a stor locked or god forbid a limited three star. I pray for the people who have a grailed Mori for instance
@@uyeah1234 The gacha may be horrible, but that's to make up for the fact that even low-rarity Servants can become relevant in late game when used properly. Plus, some 3* Servants are just overall built better than even 5* ones...
I was actually waiting for this video! Soooo many comments on different FGO channels were wondering how Honako Green was going handle this super hard boss.
Turns out he didn't even need to use a CS, he just wanted to make sure Cu survives the last turn because Fluffy's debuffs can actually kill him (unlike regular DoT debuffs which only leave Cu's HP at 1 at the end) so Honako would have lost the battle.
As someone who suffered a life and beyond to beat solomon this is terrifying Im currently starting fighting against bosses with break bars in shinjuku and things are getting hard Fortunatetly ma boi Cu will help my killing this monster
oh, just the usual double castoria on the front with sitonai, and on the back is my brainless full dps and survivability like cu lancer, enkidu and melusine to clear things up
@@mukyumukyun I'm sorry but as one who calculates with revives, just fucking reset at that point and try again. Don't waste cubes more then ya need to.
@@somethingwithultra7231 I want to learn the boss passive myself and when my team gets all wiped, I miss click and can't read Japanese, so, there you have it, it threw me back on the fight with 3 less CS
I've not been following the story past lostbelt 5 so seeing this video made me think... "Why the hell are we fighting a gigantic big foot with antlers and laser beams?"
Short version: That is the corpse of the last God. After the fairies is LB6 were too lazy to forge Excalibur and Sefar just destroyed the world they killed him and used his body to make new British Isles.
Damn, some people in this comment section is hella salty lol because he used some higher star CEs? Damn But props to Honako Green for continuing to show us that Cu is still top dog
@@HonakoGreen Any fights in this Lostbelt you would say you found enjoyable and a fun sort of challenge? I know you felt the first third of the Lostbelt was underwhelming and not fun...
@@HonakoGreen I figure that was the case. When I first look at that boss, his gimmicks seem overwhelming, but once you actually sit down and think about it, it's not that bad. We have ways to deal with those gimmicks. It's just he stat-checked low star units so hard with his insane health (4 break bars with the last bar having 500k health, the curses giving him damage resistance) and damage (the crits and the dots).
your coordination is commendable. your strategy is amazing as always. fgo is made for smart people like you. i can't even get through lostbelts without having to spend one sq to revive my whole team. i'm making myself a clown by playing this game :'D
To all of the people who thought you might not be able to beat this with a budget/F2P setup: Never lose faith. And you basically did this with less than what even F2P players would have this far into the game. You are indeed a legend
@@notthisshitagain6983 you seem to be under the false impression that FTP players never have a single 5-star, be it CE or Servant. if you've played this long, you probably do have at least a single Black Grail.
