Welcome back! In this video Mainely Outdoors and The Timber Cross join me in a 3 day adventure to the remote North Maine Woods! We explore some caves deep in the woods, fish for the rare landlocked arctic charr, and hang out in an old remote cabin that dates back to the 60s! Hope you guys enjoy!

Jacob, my family had the exact same Vermont Castings Vigilant woodstove that is in your cabin. Very cool. I know what you mean about a lakeside cabin being a special place, I spent many a summers day at my aunt and uncle's camp on Winnipesaukee in NH and those are some of my most favorite memories growing up.... I miss those simpler times.

Nothin better than being on the water in northern maine late summer/early fall. used to go up to Nesowadnehunk and Ripogenus camping fishing and exploring.

I know exactly where the camp is. My dad used to have me drive him in the boat past there 12 miles on the way to Tumbledown Dick Brook for brook trout fishing each summer for many a year. Chamberlain had the large camp to your east.

Hey I know I'm a bit late to this video but I got a couple questions for you. Where did you end up grabbing your seaplane rating from and how much did it cost you? Also where did you all end up staying in this video? I'm from southern Maine but I've been in Florida for the past few years, finished my degree and working on my commercial rating soon at about 215 hours. The stuff you do in these videos with that 180 is the kinda life I'm trying to get back to..if you have any advice, let me know! Love your content
