Yes it is because it provides you with all the technical knowledge needed to be in the finance industry.

No, you will need a passport

Yes you can ! Passport is required only when you go for registration of the CFA exam ! No passport is required if you are applying for the Scholarship

It’s not important but yes having it is an additional value add for sure because along with the technical knowledge you’ll also learn management which is a great advantage for any field.

Hi Ma’am, I’ve registered for Feb 2024 window but couldn’t sit for it as my passport is getting delayed..Got a notification today that deferral window opens on 26th Feb..Am I eligible for deferral if I don’t sit for my exam on 21st Feb

Hi Ashwini, Yes as per the latest update you will be allowed to defer later between 26th February to March 11.

Apart from great knowledge in the field you want to get into:- 1. Great reading skills 2. Excellent data sourcing skills 3. Excellent data management skills 4. Brilliant Presentation skills (specially for reports)

Hello mam, I am doing my bcom from a small college in my hometown (i didnt have any option aftwr 12th). Will this be an extremely negative factor in my CV? if i get 90%tile in L1 and learn financial modelling, will it make the process a bit smoother?

Hello Deepak, It’s completely fine…We need to understand that almost a majority in india do their education from small institutes and yet make big careers and I am sure with your determination you will do the same 🙌🏻 Definitely having a backing of CFA and other skills will uplift your chances more…Also recommend to constant work on your soft skills because that can be a game changer for you.
