Hello! I'm Level 3 candidate. As he mentioned, L3 is the easiest one among three, it put little bit pressure on my prep 😅. Joke a part, nice conversation and helpful content for us. Anyway, request you to create a content about your strategy, routine, materials you choose for your level 3 prep. It would be more helpful

Very insightful video……… can u plz ask to sir or based on your experience about how to get into finance world abroad as i want to move outside for some years and in this video sir said CFA krkr bhaar nahi japaoge so whats relevance of this global certification title (currently I’m in L2)
@tanishka3338
@tanishka3338 5 месяцев назад
Hello Ashutosh, Glad you liked the video 🙏🏻 There are two ways that I would suggest:- 1. Either you go and study (just take up a finance course in a basic college that won’t cost you much) in a place where you know it’s easy or at least not very difficult to get a work visa post your education. 2. Find a job in a well know company like Morgan Stanley, J.P Morgan etc (where you know there international operations are high). Be extremely good in your work, not immediately but maybe after a few years they can transfer you.

I have applied For Access Scholarship in Cfa Indian society but im going to pursue my masters in australia so if i get the acess scholarship can i change my Institute from india to Melbourne for specific .(for Level 1)
@tanishka3338
@tanishka3338 5 месяцев назад
Do you mean changing your exam centre ? If yes most probably as far as I know yes that’s okay but would be best to double check with the institute after the scholarship result is out.

Thankyou for these valuable insights. Can an MSBA (Masters in Business Analytics) from a good international university along with CFA make a good and relatable career path, for a fresher undergrad. Please suggest di.

Hello, glad you liked the video 🙏🏻 Yes definitely both courses are brilliant at building your analytical skills which makes it aligned and amazing. Only suggestion will be to make sure that you’re working on soft skills as well as both courses are slightly on the technical side.

@tanishka3338
@tanishka3338 5 месяцев назад
Not at all! 1. Knowledge can never go waste 2. CFA will equip you with the perfect toolkit to survive in the finance industry 3. CFA will give you an analytical mindset that can help you in any other field in case you decide to switch Yes, you don’t get a placement sell or soft skills training like MBA but both can be managed by self learning and upskilling 🙌🏻

Hi di, really insightful video I am a 21y/o graduate and a ca inter student however I am thinking of dropping ca after intermediate and giving cfa L1 in nov24 and then joining a job that will add my work experience and after 3-4 years by the time I've completed my CFA I wanna persue mba abroad, since most college require work experience thats why I think this would be the right choice since cfa is a globally recognised course. However I wonder if this is the right choice coz I have already invested almost 3 years of my college in CA and inspite of passing all subjects couldn't clear inter in aggregate by very few marks , I am afraid I don't wanna spend my 20s writing and rewriting an exam where I think I am losing my potential and missing out on other opportunities.I don't even see myself working in tax or audit dept andas much as I respect this course I don't wanna waste the coming 3-4 years of my life on just one degree

Hi Abhisek, I can understand your frustration of being stuck in an exam and it’s completely justified as well. Your plan is not bad at all however a few things I’d want you to think about before taking forward would be:- 1. Why CFA? Why MBA ? Asking you to think about this very clearly because you’ve spend a lot of time doing something that you were not very interested in…It’s true that you won’t know if this is your interest till you try it out but to be able to try this out and execute honestly you’ll need a strong why to back your willpower. 2. Failure can happen in this plan as well…Are you okay with that ? Are you accepting of that fact because if the reason to switch is failure than the reason is not concrete 3. Yes this will take up some of your prime years but the fact that you’re working in between will add a lot of character… My suggestion: Start with one thing (CFA or MBA or whatever you like) and make a plan for that only. Eg: if you want to go with CFA think of a plan only for that because who knows after doing that and working you don’t even find the need to do MBA)… Basic point is don’t just pile up degrees for the heck of it. Understand why you want to do it and how it’s helping you in your choice of life. P.s. you’re still very young you might be able to finish this path by 25/26 which is okay overall so don’t worry too much about that factor.

I had one question about the CFA scholarship if I get a scholarship in the application of the February term then is it compulsory to give the exam in may or can I give the exam in the month of August.

Hello, If you apply for the scholarship now you won’t be allowed to give the exam in May 2024 at all. August onwards is when your cycle will start ☺️

@tanishka3338
@tanishka3338 5 месяцев назад
Yes it’s okay to follow this. Some companies have a requirement for MBA (specially for managerial positions) but slowly that’s also changing to MBA or CFA. Just make sure you are also working on soft skills because CFA alone does not sharpen that aspect.

CFA level 1 is also adding this in their syllabus so if you’re doing that you will get some insights. Other than that you can go for any course on RU-vid, udemy, qoursera….Just focus on understanding how it’s done at least to a beginner level.

Academic {(61.8)-(62.8)-(59.17)}% with B.A in History/political science (a) ; Can i get scholarship for level 1 CFA (November 2024)??? 10th was in 2005, 12th was in 2009 then diploma in engineering was in 2015 and graduation was completed in 2021. I have registered coaching center with GSTIN number and 6 years of ITR details. (b) ; I am an Indian, if i pay CFA level 1 fees from an American account, will i have to pay 1290 USD or (1290 + 18% GST) ?? I am selected in SSBF PUNE (Symbiosis Study of Business and Finance) for MBA in finance..!! I am going to do CFA all three levels with MBA..!! I expect a campus placement of around 22 LPA Because of CFA all three levels..!! Presently i am on 33 yrs of age ..!! Please give me some suggestions for future ..!! At this age i have nothing to lose..!! Stay blessed tanishka ..!! I it could be in my hand, i would give you 100M likes, views and subscribers..!! You are my favourite finance youtuber ..!! ❤

Before I reply to your questions, I have to take a minute to thank you for what you said in the end of this comment, I don’t think I can express how much those words mean to me so THANK YOU🙏🏻 Answering your questions:- 1. Yes you can apply for scholarship, chances of getting will be the same 50-50 as is for anyone. 2. Do you mean paying from a bank account that you have in USA ? In either ways if you’re giving the exam in india and registering here I feel you’d still have to pay the GST amount. However as I am not 1000% of your situation I would highly recommend you break it down and send a mail to the institute so you have full clarity. I think you’re walking on a brilliant path just keep at it…The only thing I’d recommend is to simultaneously focus on building soft skills as well (pretty sure the MBA journey will do that) because finance as a course can get very technical and we tend to lose out on basics like presentation skills etc. Other than that I think it’s a great path…Wishing you all the luck, strength & success 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
