What an awesome gift for your students to be able to go to France and be hosted by an awesome group of Christian educators. To enjoy the culture and beauty of another country in complete safety and wholesomeness. They will never forget it. What a gift ♥️
What a fun episode of laughter , inspiration and d great music! I’m sure these young people are learning about themselves and their world.Blessings to Leslie and all the hard work from her management of the chateau, while Rob is at his best in the classroom and beyond! And yes…”watch out for the boar…”😂
God bless you Rob & Leslie for this magnificent ministry. I enjoy watching even more when the students are there. You are in my prayers each day. Stay safe.
God has taken a great program and is growing it to His glory in the perfect setting. If I was a few years younger, actually quite a few, I'd want to help...so beautiful and peaceful. Praise God for His plan and your listening.
& FYI, I loved the students singing, I'm a remote worker in TEXAS, auditing for a Major Heathcare system, watching while I work, the music is an inspiration & changed the course of my Monday morning. Please encourage the students to share more of their wonderful voices. Thank each & every one of them. It is well, very very well, after listening to them.
This is such a wonderful experience. I want my daughter to look into this program. I'm a retired school nurse and teacher and I miss the interactions with the students. It's definitely a calling. I can see a pickle ball court , frisbee golf, soccer field and basketball court in the future. Prayers for you all!
Bonjour Leslie and Rob, it is so nice to see the Chateau filled with your students again. It's so nice to see them having fun, enjoying their studies abroad. This is a Christian learning trip, which also allows them to be themselves and enjoy life as well. Getting ready for the summer Olympics was a treat. What a beautiful video showcasing everything you both have to offer these wonderful children. Thanks for sharing with us. Love from N.Y.
Burner covers for grills is one of the easiest things to replace, most are not specific to brand.....in the US. Might be an Amazon Prime thing in France. Not expensive.
The pavilion would be an excellent wedding rental venue on a bring-your-own-caterer basis, with options for bride/groom to stay in the chateau. A good income stream to support upkeep and restoration around the place, and perhaps even sponsor a couple of students who otherwise couldn't afford to come.
My goodness it looks like a spectacular time! The shows look like an amazing opportunity, and I love that, when talking about the strengths of this group, you mention that some are very funny, some are very good listeners, etc. It's just a blessing to see recognition for gifts that are not what might be typically lauded.
What a wonderful episode with the students singing! Camps or getaways like this are FABULOUS for youth to learn healthy interactions, especially in this disconnected age of tech. Adults benefit from it as well, these ARE things they will take forward with them. Blessings to you all! ❤
Nice recap of the week. It warms my heart to see the wonderful experience these young God Lovers are having. Thanks to you and Leslie for investing in the Kingdom in this way. MAY the LORD God use this time in a powerful way in the minds and hearts of the students...and staff.
I'm loving this okay no no no no that's totally unacceptable for that BBQ. My brothers and sisters we should all pitch in $.. whatever amount the Lord puts on our hearts to provide a barbecue for our brother. Amen. Yes?
Rob, I agree with you about the interaction of the genders. Both my boys went to an all boys school in San Diego. Alot of the boys were incredibly awkward around the young ladies from the all girls school. You're doing a great service. Thanks for sharing, sincerely in San Diego California
Rob, great to see the chateau being used to its nearly full potential! Christianity is a song filled celebration of our Lord God! All honor and glory goes to our blessed creator! Alleluia Alleluia Alleluia! Amen! Thomas
Wow. Such a great episode!! You most definitely have great singers in this group!! They sound great in church!!! Yes your house is surely beautiful!! Students are having soo much fun!! You all are doing so good for the students coming to chateau La Grifferaie. !!! I just love the sword fighting!! Great job!! Lots of love from Tennessee!
Rob, Where were you during this old lady's college days, The funniest Professor of all. How fun you make caring, Sharing & learning. I love your channel.
Loved hearing the worship! I have been watching from Australia for a long time and subscribed. You may be Canadians in France but I felt so at home through your songs tonight and sang along. God Bless you!
It's really going to be a yearly struggle with boxwood blight, just let the ivy take over and trim , it will look amazing and so much easier, long time Gardener 😍
Rob and Lesley great to see all your hard work come to fruition, may have to get the local farmer back to cull some of the wild boars, nothing like wild boar roast loins. Make sure Lesley gets some sort of a break she is obviously a machine and really enjoys what you are both doing, take care, be safe and God Bless 👍😇🌋🏰
This was so good to watch. Thanks. I love the singing. I cried all the way through the worship time. I can't sing anymore and it breaks my heart. I try and its horrible. But i st enjoy listening to it.
Loved the harmony in the church! Awesome! Re: the boxwood/ivy, isn’t it possible that the Ivy is choking the boxwood? Add the voracious box moth caterpillars and the hedge is challenged to thrive. Get rid of the ivy which is probably commandeering all the water around the boxwood. Might give the boxwood a fighting chance.
Lord I lift your name on high? Nineties worship with Rob Hildebrand? This was my foundation moving in to young adulthood and as a youth leader of Rob and Leslie’s at Efree. Do you remember that youth room up the stairs from the Efree foyer? I have sung all those youth songs to my children. Thank you Rob, for sharing a solid worship foundation in your commitment to worship in song and in life.
Happy that the session is going sooo well! An observation, when you were walking around the grounds and paused, there was a very large tree off to your right at the side of chateau by the pilon, the one that has a bit of a mound around the base of it. I can't remember if you've had an arborist come by and look at the trees but i was watching another channel and an arborist told them that one of their large trees had this mound and might mean that the roots are more across the top rather than deep rooted. This could cause the tree to fall at some point and damage whatever's in its path. In the case of this chateau they had it removed and found that the tree was not healthy and possibly could have cause a lot of damage. Just wanted to mention, but if an arborist has looked at it and said it was fine, awesome. Again, you've done so much wonderful work, all the best!
.. that area what about a place of worship? I wouldn't put walls on certain places and put Glass wall to be able to see the beauty of the outdoors. 🙏 Pray and ask for wisdom from our Lord.😌❤️🙏🇨🇦🇫🇷
Your video brought back memories of watching the 1996 Olympic Torch run through Atlanta. So many people showed up, it was delayed for hours! It was the wee morning hours when we finally got home. The friend I shared this experience with passed away last year. Bittersweet to see your video.
I enjoyed The Worship Music …… next worship song can you put the camera on maybe the ceiling …… or out the window …… the light reflecting the light in worship …..❤
You got so much work accomplished this season it’s amazing; and it’s a joy seeing the kids enjoying themselves and being fulfilled with this experience. You do need to expand(you have all those awesome attic rooms)how many students could be housed up there. Eventually you need some staff to help manage the place and Leslie works way too hard and long every day, her role needs to be more managerial. There’s an attic project for 😉
Unrehearsed music, straight from the heart! Have you thought about shorter 10 day or 2 week sessions without far-off excursions, more like camp, staying in tents in the lawn?
Great video 👍 The Barbeque repair strips are zinc plated or galvanised you need to burn of the plating it's not healthy, try using a old cooking perforated stainless steel pan etc as a donor material 😊
I know you did not ask but I think you should expand. However, start small. Perhaps, some of the students can volunteer to help with cooking, cleaning, etc., which will eliminate the need for paid staff, immediately. It will also lighten the load of the work you and Leslie have to do.
Hi I'm a fan of yours's very far away from Europe, Hope you both are doing great , Hey I have a good suggestion you guys can read and research all religious (probably Abrahamic religions) scriptures, Their history... that would be so fun !!! Take care❤
Hi, lots of fun. You should not do crêpes but instead the "galette de sarrasin," which is more for salted ingredients. The crêpes in France are normally sweet.
The singing is so good and the acoustics are great. The wild boars are a problem in Texas. You have to be careful. They come into neighborhoods and they are the type you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley. Ours attack and have killed people.
They did? When? She bought all brand new box for the courtyard when they added to the original, though I think she replaced the few that turn bronze in winter with green ones.
@@debbierudolph9489 but they didn’t replace them. He suggested that was an option. All the original box hedges are still there, we just saw them weeded.
