So In one statement in his closing arguments Woods just put Chad and Alex at the scene of the bodies at the same time on the same day. Chad by texting his wife about the raccoon and Alex by his cell phone ping. That will make it impossible for Chad to say he didn’t know what Alex was doing there. Brilliant!
Actually, I'd think theyd dig that whole entire property up, every inch cause for all we know there could be more dead body's, human body's buried there since he is a killer and already buried 2 children there, why not dig it all up and just check for more bodies. May find some missing people there for all we know

This defense attorney is quite arrogant in my eyes. His closing argument against conspiracy made no sense, to make a statement as to the state not providing enough evidence to prove conspiracy! WTF the remains of two of your current wifes children where buried on your property. The state did a great job outlining the details of the case, and this was preliminary. Defense attorney get you stuff together. The state might eat you up, and any juror like a citizen myself would favor the state PERIOD!
Just wondering what other kind of real demonstrative evidence the state has for conspiracy, besides finding the bodies on his property. Obviously he gave Alex Cox permission to bury the bodies. JJ's grandfather held his hands up in praise/victory at the end (thank you Lord!) for this very small victory that will be occurring in trying #dumbbell.. anyway, I am hoping to watch the actual court hearings & follow closely soon. This judge is running this hearing smoothly. I realize this is not the trial but I must say that this is the best judge, prosecution team and witnesses I've watched on any of the high profile cases.
Does anyone else find it odd that Chad hardly moves? Like, no crossing of limbs, no adjusting his position, and not even having a little itch on his nose. It's super creepy to me!
He would have been instructed by his lawyer on how to behave in court. Probably also to not show emotions, react at anything, etc. All part of the defense game.

Please don't hate the defence, they have to do the best job possible otherwise it could lead to an appeal by the convicted that their defence team was incompetent. If the general public had its way, there'd be no defence just a guilty verdict followed by an execution which I would find unacceptable had I parked on a double yellow, got a ticket and sworn at a parking warden. Remember, when the defence lawyer takes off his legal hat and closes his front door behind him, he's a member of the public too.
And if the roles were reversed, and it was Wood defending Fathead, and Prior prosecuting him, you'd be saying the exact same thing. Not trying to sound hateful, but I see this very comment over and over. As much as it makes our stomachs turn and our blood boil, Fathead Chac and Loco Lori get a defense. It's their rights as American citizens. I agree wil the comment above. It's a tough job. You don't have to like your client, but you do have to defend them.

At the bail hearing there was several minutes involved with a question of defense lawyer having been suspended and disbarred in another state. Which apparently culminated in no loss of privilege and no charges filed in that situation. And NO details were included. Incompetent defense could be a future hiccup. Prosecution is a tyrannosaur. If he was sitting as defense, he’d scare me as capable of creating doubt. In his role now, he’s capable of eating everyone in the room. And I LOVE him.

Those are the kind I deeply dislike. As for Mr Wood, I think he's just fine. He appears to be very capable of winning this case. Mr. Prior doesn't look lost or out of water either though. I predict his (defense)attitude changing once they get a jury picked. In this preliminary hearing he wasn't worried about what the judge or gallery thought bc it's going to another judge anyway. Although I will admit I highly like The Honorable Judge Eddins and wish it was him during the upcoming trial.

@@NaughtyAutie This is a preliminary hearing to see if there's enough evidence to proceed with his current charges, of 2 felony counts for concealment/destruction of evidence. This has to do with the kids deceased bodies that were concealed & buried on his property, and also the dismembering/burning (destruction) & vile way the children's bodies were desecrated. Just wait until additional charges are filed against Chad. I forsee murder charges for Tammy's death. And possibly murder charges regarding Tylee, JJ & Alex, or at least conspiracy to commit murder. This is just the start of things, he's through.

Agreed, the judge is fair and balanced, not injecting his opinion in any way. The defence attorney has a very difficult job to do, and I think he works wonders in an impossible case. In any other case, that attorney is more than competent enough to win his share.

The judge and the prosecuting attorney are clearly seasoned professionals. The defense attorney has required continual coaching on talking over answers, going too fast, speaking into the mic, and shows too much emotion and aggression toward the witnesses. Dude, this is a prelim...chill...and maybe review the footage and adjust your style. You're sticking out like a sore thumb...

Because the media is so driven and this case is all ready over the net, I think it shows the need for professional juries. Think about it, unless you have all ready served on a jury, most people do not know what to expect. Would you really want your learning curve to possibly effect future appeals or even an error at law? Professional juries, would know all the legal ins and outs, be familiar with procedure. Beside, everyone involved in this case, in that court room is making bank. The defense attorney, the prosecutor, the judge, the law enforcement....but our process expects a fair trial and sound judgement despite the taking away from your personal time, family life and living with a free meals, and hotels if suqeustered.

Kris Hanford Judge Eddins decision starts at 53:00. The state has met the burden of proof and will move onto district court. Chads formal arraignment is scheduled for August 21 in the District Court.

I believe they did. I read that they believed the body had to be either burned or wrapped within a certain short time after death. So that way…he was already wrapped. I can’t figure out how they could dismember Tylee and burn her without being seen.

Its around 1600 & 2300 that its said what messages/why but its probably bc some messages came from fam/friends that did not know she had passed away yet.. that's crazy! I hope it comes out in the actual court hearing!!!
I do not know why I stopped on this particular story a couple of weeks ago, and have been following everything so closely listening to everything they have stated in arguments. I had this oddly weird connection, and kept thinking this is going to line up somehow to my boys birthdays, and something is going to jump out at me that, and so I read and listened on, and I too have an Autistic child so maybe that was it right there. Connection, as a mother of such a wonderful boy, and the way they portrayed him to be out of character, and acting like a zombie etc... I said for one any child that has an episode, nonetheless one of being Autistic is going to climb and break things in a town-home, where the walls are thin and right under the bedrooms of the home. So saying you could not, or did hear any commotion in the morning made me feel off about the confirmations of the two that stayed there that night and morning. Going forward I just continued to feel for these children, and in hope to seek the justice they so much deserve, each time I heard a date still had that feeling something is connecting me to listen more. It was when they had stated Sept 24th was Tylee Ryans birthday, it hit me there it is, why is that we get these feelings in life sometimes I never know. I share that same birthday, and it means nothing I know but it just moves me in such a way that I had a connection a relation with the little girl passing. We shared something in common, and it connected me to both of these children one having a young Autistic boy with JJ, and that of sharing the same birthday of Tylee. I hope they get the justice they deserve, and I will be rooting for the closure they so much need granted for the sake of the families involved, and all of us here in support of those two precious children. I saw someone state the family of Tylee are not there, as much as for JJ but she has all of us here, and the whole world is watching in the justice being sought for these two beautiful souls who lost the right of life at such young ages. May they finally rest in peace, and know they are cared for by many many many people all over

They didn't give up on him. Charles adopted him despite Lori not wanting to, then Lori has Alex murder Charles and claim self-defense. Lori refused to give JJ to the Woodcocks because she was receiving $6000 a month for his care and continued to cash out his social security checks after his death.
Judge told expert to review report and hand it back.....Why do they expect experts to memorize all this data on reports especially when defense attorney wants so much detail.?
My first impression of this judge was not good, when he first appeared with that mask hanging off of his face and he looked very unkept and kind of dumpy, but he now appears very on top of things and he's super sharp.

Also, have they looked to see if Chad and the brothers phones are on the property at the same times? I haven't been able to figure that out, which would obvi be a big problem for Chad (other than the fact that bodies are buried in his yard).
