Just meet Chael at UFC press conference in Chicago this past wednesday. First fighter off the podium to come and greet the fans. Was nice enough to take picture with any fan who wanted one. Chael personally pointed me out as I was only one wearing his UFC 117 walkout shirt! This guy actually engaged the fans and held conversations well,extremely articulate and highly intelligent man. Will be their on Jan 28th to Cheer for you bro, CHAEL SONNEN!
Wrote it in other posts, and I'll write it again - What a really nice guy! Sonnen is one really nice guy. Have to admit if I lived near that area I would join just for the exercise. After hearing him on a talk radio show a few weeks ago, I bought his book and instantly became this huge Chael Sonnen political and MMA fan. God Bless and protect Chael Sonnen.
@krnk4life Well, he's the very first fighter to win 2 titles in different classes, I don't remember him ever backing down from a fight, he retired then came back and won the title on his return, he's a hall of famer, yeah, there's plenty of reasons.

@rodgers544 dude u have no idea how happy it makes me feel when i see comments that show that there ARE people out there that understand. silva ducks out people all the time. then FINALLY when silva gets FORCED to fight sonnen, silva couldn't even come CLOSE to winning a SINGLE round. that says somthing. ya sonnen got caught in a sub, but thats cuz he was going easy in the end cuz he knew he had the match totally won.
This is the real Chael. The trashtalker Chael is only hyping the fights. He gets a PPV cut, so more PPV buys = more money. It's simple logic, but apparently not every fighter has caught on... never understood why opponents manhug each other and act like best buddies on weigh in day.. if they stirred some drama, a lot more people would care about their fight. It's a proven fact. Lesnar understood it well, which is why he still holds the record for highest PPV buys.
@krnk4life He's a BJ Penn type best, not a Silva. The W/L ratio isn't important for those fighters, it's who they fought and how they won/lost that is what makes them badasses.
@mm4junkie He made Anderson his bitch so he makes Anderson hold his belt for him. And when Chael was on "suspension" (I'd call it vacation) he allowed Silva to be the Interim Middlweight Champion!
Oh, HI Chael. How are you? I've never talked to a UFC fighter on youtube before. This is exciting. If you were innocent you wouldn't have gotten a 6 month suspension, which was supposed to be a 12-month, but I guess your lawyer was a slick talker.

I thought chael trains there 2 a day & lindland I'm not sure about randy couture, I believe he lives/trains in las vegas most of the time, chris leben lives and trains in Hawaii, and dan henderson trains and lives in temecula, california, if I lived there Id def train there for sure, I was thinking of moving to Portland, OR, I live in southern CA, Ive never been to OR but I hear it's really nice, can u email/message me and shed some light into life in portland, thanks, Mike
@levedia Did you watch his interview with on Ariel Hawinni. The guy made racist comments about Brazil. That is just stupid. I do agree with alot of fighters taking juice and stuff right below it. I am 5/10 167 and I couldn't gain anymore weight without being bulky.
@blaaket123 poor record as in 25-11, thats not that bad. Look at Randy Coutures record. he backs his trash talk up so I dont care but the TRT needs to stop
Chael is great and bad for MMA. Great b/c the guy is great talker and a great promoter for the sport. Bad b/c he is a cheater, has a poor record and also has crosses the line with trash talking.
