Damn. After seeing the Wanderlei and Leben fight, Sonnen called it down to the wire. Hit it right on the nose with his prediction. I would have just been like " Eh, Leben is going to win". I love watching this guy interview. He's brilliant. Can't wait for Silva vs Sonnen 2.
I think it would be really funny to see Chris Leben turn around and smack talk Chael, just to see Chael be the guy whos saying "wtf where did that disrespect come from?" for a change lol
I will say that Anderson did some shady shit. He wiped Vaseline on himself. Shoulder checked Chael at the weighing (which he should have been fined heavily for as this ain't boxing its not cute) and then held the shorts when he got the punch that rocked Chael enough to pull that idiotic move that lost him the fight. I don't think that fight finished the conversation that is Chael vs Anderson. We need one more.
@ReignSupreme3 or the fact that Chael and Wanderlei were in a car together and Wanderlei opened his mouth and got into the business of Silva vs Sonnen and Chael didn't like that.
@Robespierr He's been submitted. Yes he's never been KO's but regardless of your own personal definition, being submitted = being defeated. That word would be more fitting for Anderson as he's never been defeated in the UFC.
all i have to say to chael sonnen about wanderlei silva is this. at least wanderlei silva isnt a quitter. hes never tapped out like a little girl..how many times have you been tapped out?? wanderlei has accomplished far more than you ever have or ever will.
True, Chael Sonnen did give Anderson Silva a beating for 4.5 rounds but he also trashed the Nogueira brothers BJJ black belt to Silva which ironically is what won the fight for Silva with that amazing triangle choke with an armbar. Next time, I think Anderson Silva will train harder and be better than Chael Sonnen for most of the fight. Got nothing against Chael by the way, just think he should show some more respect for some other fighters out there.
@roberts59a leben has too slow of punches but if it lands it definatly hurts but i doubt he would land many shots just like with anderson but much less speed from sonnen
@roejogan8 There's no doubt Chael tested the will of Anderson Silva but the fact is he's still champion. Chael Sonnen exposed a weakness in Silva's game, and vice versa. The end result was a tapout.
@roejogan8 hes fighting machinda? if tht happens he won't take machida down he'll eat like 30 leg and head kicks then get knee'd in the face 2 death...but yes chael is a great fighter 1 of my favorites but i know machida would win the stand up and machida wouldn't get taken down either
@philhouse64 the spider is too vicious? yeah because a triangle, 1 flurry on the feet in round 4 and a few grazing elbows from the bottom are so vicious. get real, chael is goona destroy him again in the rematch and take his belt and all anderson's fans know it deep down.
@Robespierr What are you talking about? lol chael has been defeated plenty of times, Silva, Damian maia, Okami are just 3 off the top of my head i can name that have beat sonnen. Oh and he isn't even a boxer he is a wrestler so plenty of fighters would outbox him.

Sonnen's simply angry that wanderlei put him in his place after he was dissing Brazilian fighters. Wanderlei made mince meat outta guys like chael sonnen for years. Now little Mr ''I-want-recognized-and-respect-(Sonnen) thinks his 2-dime suggestions are relevant.
