Finally, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will induct Ms. Chaka Khan on November 3, 2023 in New York City! She can sing all genres. God bless our female genius for her creativity and artistic contribution to music. I can not think of life without her music. Congratulations!

Apologies for being late to this party. RU-vid's algorithms finally kicking in for me as have been watching live music i haven't seen for 40 years plus. Started with Kool and the Gang 1982 then Roberta Flack feat Peabo 1980 then Chaka. Wallowing fully into nostalgia now at the memories in tears about absent family and friends..old loves. @@TheGirl600podcast We were not at this particular show, but this was the lineup and the band and Chaka was native American garb. I've seen Chaka in concert over 2 dozen times, the first being at Spirit of 76 music festival at Shea Stadium in NYC where she road into the stadium on the roof of a yellow cab - the crowd went off as Rufus went into "You Got the Love" I was 11 years old.

IMHO, Anthony is the GOAT of electric bass. Anything he plays on is enhanced by his genius. However, do yourself a favor and listen to Chaka’s studio version of “we can work it out”. Greg Phillinganes lays down one of the baddest, funkiest synth bass parts you’ll ever hear.

Chaka Khan has a one of a most prolific voices of all time. She is one of my favorite singers. I love her since the 1970's. The music she has given us bring back sweet memories. She can sing almost all kinds of music, jazz, pop, soul, R&B even Gospels. If she want to she can even sing opra. She has a high octave vocal range. I put her up there among singers like Sarah Vaughn, Ella Fitzgerald, and Natalie Cole just to name a few. Chaka Khan made a successful cross over into pop music.🎶 🎵 👌 She should be honored in the Rock Hall of Fame. Chaka we love you. Thank you for the music. 🎶

Chaka is truly in her own lane..nobody is quite like her really..she is a singer with a mind of a musician/instrumentalist..her style of singing, her timing n sense of rhythm, her phrasing all blended so well with the music..she can be powerful n outstanding with her vocals but still be intact and in the pocket with the band..if anything she enhances the music n not being too upfront like most singers..truly one of a kind..now try to listen to singers who try to cover her songs n you'll hear the difference.

I wonder if she reads these comments.I love her song Angel I use to sing it so much that my children and grandchildren had it embedded in their heads my 12 year old grandson would whistle the song and my 8 year old granddaughter would go home singing the song so much that her mother would say stop singing that song 17 year would be singing the song so much that her mother would also say stop singing that song and that was in 2021...My biggest wish would be to go up on stage with Chaka and sing Everlasting Love another so g that is embedded in my grandchildren and children's heads Lol.Much love to Chaka Khan she has endured the test of time blessings to her.

Don't forget Stephen ferrone on drums. Dude has played with everybody you have ever liked he was also the drummer for The average White band but he is played with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers since the 90s he's played with Harrison Dylan Clapton Prince you name it he's played with them he's one of the most sought-after drummers in the world because he has perfect in the pocket timing and absolutely brilliant sense of rhythm and he's one of my dear friends and I love him very much
