Trouble at mill at Glastonbury Chalice Well Garden, with many people feeling upset at the removal of the Mother and Child statue from its niche. Originally it was no longer to be in the garden at all, along with another statue - but it has been returned but to another place - not its original niche.
There is a, to my mind, false connection that has made to the artist Eric Gill - who did NOT make the statue in question. It was made by a Brahmin priest and artist Ganesh Bhat.
