"Desmond Rowe, 31, of Lake Village died about 8:49 p.m. Sunday, when the 2010 Dodge Challenger, he was driving wrecked on Arkansas 208 near Dermott (Chicot County). According to a preliminary Arkansas State Police report, Rowe was driving west at a high rate of speed and failed to negotiate a left-hand curve in the roadway. His car exited the north side of the highway and struck an embankment, overturning and ejecting the driver. The car came to rest upright, facing west in the roadside ditch. The weather was clear, and the road was dry. Sgt. Dakotah Bailey investigated the wreck. Rowe’s death was the fourth motor vehicle fatality in the Dermott area this weekend."
Ain’t nothing better than being legit AND they just let u off with a warning all together. Move on with ya day & go on home, just pull tf over…& STAY there!
If you get ejected from a vehicle I don't give a damn how fast you going you are going to possibly get thrown a few hundred feet. I had a friend that passed away like this years ago and they weren't going nearly as fast and they couldn't find him at first to where the other people that were in the vehicle left the scene. He was found the next morning a few hundred feet away from the vehicle.
So you think he just bailed at 160? Dude wouldnt even be able to open the door at that speed. More likely, he stopped and wedged a stick of some kind on the accelerator and popped it in drive then took off on foot.
It never fails to amaze that instead of pulling over, taking an L & going on with your business, these idiots decide to run from the cops & get arrested/crash their car/or die in the process
Imagine if - by some miracle - you wake up in a field. Everything hurts, but nothing is broken. You look around and slowly sit up, only to see blue flashing lights nearby. Then you remember what happened and get off the X. Quietly move away from all the lights and call a friend to pick you up down the road. The next morning you call in the car as stolen.
@@seanwoodson1143 Unless he knew the owner or was the owner. Then a lawyer can reasonably say he was in that car at some point in his life. Blood might be a different story though.
Funny how asp just keeps chasing darkness when he clearly said he's familiar with who drives it. Ok so radio other officers and have them go to his house and wait for him to show up. Don't just keep chasing nothingness!
@@dragoness3606 I am not sure I want a blanket ban. Just some discretion. There is a time and place for everything. If this is a murder suspect or a bank robbery getaway then by all means pursue. But let's not have 150MPH chases through traffic over a stolen car or too-dark tint. Pick your battles is all I am saying.
You know how when you play GTA and you press triangle or Y and let the car ghostride, I think thats what happened here and thats way more survivable then wrecking, being ejected at 160 and running away.
Many years ago, two good friends of mine got into a late night single vehicle wreck on some backroads where we used to live (rural Louisiana)... my friend who was the passenger passed away immediately, but they didn't know my other friend (the driver) was even there because he got ejected into a field like the one in this clip. They found him in the morning when they were clearing the scene... he was injured severely, but recovered for the most part. Neither one were buckled.
Just because your car has the power doesn’t mean you or the car or the tires can handle it. When I first started driving we had bias ply tires. Those sucked. Many muscle cars crashed because of them. I own a custom paint and body shop. I hate to see anyone crash. And hope no one loses their life. I don’t drive fast because my thought is there is some hot chick out there somewhere might want some injun in her 😂. Stay safe brothers and sisters
I ran bias ply tire on one of my 2022 mustang gt full bolt on and I can your right something I notice about those tires is they would move my car from the rear side to side at high speeds. I never had accident with running them on the highway I would also race with them but i switch to drag radials or slicks but I’m be honest they make your wheels set up look clean but there also really light in weight.
@@gera__5.036 the slicks are all bias ply so side wall will wrinkle. They will hook on launch. We used to scrub with lacquer thinner. Then do burnout. They run these in the fast class where old cars look bone stock.
I have been ejected at 140 MPH off a motorcycle when a driver took a left in front of my invincible crotch-rocket speeding dumb 21 year old ass. Airborne like 50 0r 60 feet then maybe another 100 feet of skipping like a stone on a lake along the ground. Half a mile would be 2X around a high-school track. Of course I did it Superman style not through a windshield or window like this guy.
Hey homes they found DeeRo walkin the streets of glory when it got daylight halfway across that field in front of that prison so 160 in a curve you are right that car is made to drive high speed straight!
1) Not worth a chase when you know who the driver is…. 2) why would you think he was ejected right by the car?? The car could have rolled numerous times over a pretty good distance…. On top of being thrown out at 160… dude could have been thrown 200-300 feet.. probably more. In that tall slash and thickets… dude could be anywhere along that stretch.
I would NEVER be stupid enough to try and run from LEO period 🤦♀️you either gone wreck and get hurt/die....or they gone call for backup/🚁 and you going to jail with a FELONY just aint worth it in my opinion NO MATTER HOW FAST YOUR CAR IS OR WHAT TYPE OF CAR IT IS🙆♀️shits crazyyyy
He could have walked away. Back in the 90s, Jared Fitzgerald stole a C4 Corvette and crashed into an 18-wheeler at roughly 140mph while trying to flee police. He walked away with no injuries, not even a single cut. You can find the video, it's wild.
can you imagine being on foot in the dark at night like that running from cops. High chance he left his phone so no flashlight and you gotta sleep the night out there till they leave. That shit gotta be scary
Im 99% sure he was just so far away from the vehicle that the video/badge cam video ended before the discovery im pretty sure the original video has the link to the report
Saw that one video a month or two ago, was flying in a residential area, guy clipped a tree or something, shredded the car and littered a block with debris, they found him in pieces like 200ft from the car.
He had lost 12 tho... It would b easy at that point to take ya foot off the gas and let it slow down on its own... Throw it in cruise control at about 30 mph and dip out... Aint no way they know the car was goin 160 at that point... Buddy left 12 n the dust... My hypothesis
No sympathy from me. Obviously, you pulled off on police in hopes of avoiding a ticket and ended up getting yourself killed. Let alone, in a Stellantis (Fiat) Charger. 😂
Right before 15:48 so between 15:43 and 15:48, you can see the guy crash because the tail lights go way up in the air. Dude probably went out of the car and landed on the other side of the road, that's why they couldn't find him
I flipped a vette @90 mph, witnesses said I did 7 revolutions [I had lost track]. After the car came to rest, I crawled out and called 911 and was able to walk away. I had injured myself, which i paid for later with 6 surgeries, shoulder and neck.
