I did a quick Google search on specs, and stock for stock the 2022 F-Type runs a quarter mile in 11.5 and the Challenger Hellcat runs it in 11.8. The F-Type also handles a lot better, has a slightly quicker 0-60 and much better stopping distances. Rare car so I'm sure not many are stolen, but he picked a great car to run with. Bro understood the assignment for sure.
Interestingly, the car in this video is the V6 - easy tell with the centered tail pipes as opposed to the quad pipes on the V8s. Max power a V6 has produced with an exhaust, pulleys and ECU/TCU tune is nearly 500hp. Mine is around 475hp, so very far from 575hp. From factory, depending on the variant, you can get up to 400hp on the V6. Bro was just lucky with the lack of traffic on the highway.

I paid to drive an ftype on a track. Best handling car ive ever driven. I tried to make it lose control and slower speeds and i couldn't. Excellent traction control on that thing. Very responsive throttle and steering.
I'm finding it hard to believe that there was little or no traffic on the freeways going into and out of downtown. Having grown up there, I know how jacked up traffic can be! This one was funny, driver obviously knew the 'hood well and bailed on foot. Great ending! Saw a chase where a black Vette had half the cops in L.A. chasing him into downtown, he ended up ditching them in all the side streets there and likely parked it in a parking structure under one of the high rises. Cops were stumped, never caught his ass.
Guys, running for the police with a helicopter overhead is absolutely not what you want. I'm not sure why this guy says that's what you want. The last thing you want is any helicopters in the air following you. They don't have to keep up with you and they can see everything. You only hope is getting to an airport but people who talk about airports forget that the airport is filled with law enforcement. They helicopter may not be able to go in there but there's lots of cameras and police who can be alerted ahead of time who can grab you. What you want is to be out of sight of helicopters and police cars and then to be able to disappear finally

That's a V6 F Type not a SVR. You can see the twin tailpipes in the middle. Only the V8 F Type SVR has dual quad pipes but still good driver and pretty quick car still for a V6
I adore the F-Type R but the one I owned for a time taught me they are a nightmare to deal with concerning warranty. Not to mention you cant really internally mod them like the traditional performance cars. Which would be great for warranty work if they actually didnt break your arm to get said warranty coverage work done lol.

If you are a potentially thinking of stealing a car then you should be taking notes of which places you can dip at. Tall buildings near freeway overpasses should be a ditching point.
