Respectfully disagree. The Indian trunk has some sharp edges, rounded parts... It fits and it's OEM. It has factory lighting (inside and out), new style rack, and electronic locking with the key fob! It was an expensive option but it really works (and looks) great for what I need. Paired with the Ultimate Seat relocation kit (trunk/sissy bars sit 1.5" further back) the look is great and the wife loves the space and storage.

I've watched several of your videos, but this is the first time that I've seen this video on the Tour Packs. I'd love to have a rear trunk, and this style would look great on my 2017 Indian Chieftain Limited Silver Smoke. After looking at their website I'm definitely considering adding on their kit. I'll have to check and see if the grommets for my quick release sissy bar will work on their rack as well. Thanks Brian for an awesome video!

Indian is going through a design transition. I agree, the Roadmaster trunk has that bubble appearance. Cost cutting plus supply issues might have contributed to Indian using that trunk.

I think the OE trunk looks the best on the Pursuit than the OG Roadmaster, shaped mor like the front fairing on the Pursuit. To me balances out the bike front to back. Might not have the angles of the gas tank but I am not putting anything HD knock off on my bike.

In my humble biased opinion. The OEM trunk is heads and shoulders above the Chinese AdvanBlack trunk. Comes with an interior light. Speakers. And central locking. As well as a wired in plug. But I'm glad it worked out for you. You seem to like it. Good job. And Just my biased opinion.

Getting anything in the mail without instructions that has multiple parts can be frustrating. She sure is pretty and all the stuff you’ll be able to carry is priceless.

Hey Mate all due respect.. but from experience open up your side bags before putting trunk on or off.. you will at some stage chip the paint on the bags.. as i saw you moved it on the putting it on part.. dont ask me how i know.. cheers

Modify the plug by adding a couple of slits to the portion that inserts into the trunk.

They need to change the design a bit for the Indian tour packs. They are exactly the same as Harley’s your packs.

Great video! I feel your pain. I too want to take the rack off when I am riding local, because having the rack does take off "cool" points. I haven't found anything that would fit the holes perfectly yet. I am hoping one day I will.

I think that you exceeded the 20lb limit that is posted on most trunk with that can of paint!!! Good looking trunk. I don't care for the seat back but it's a good looking trunk. I get my Pursuit in about four weeks and I cannot wait! I offered to pick it up at the factory but the factory guy said that that is not allowed. Pooh!!!!!

They need to design one just for Indian. That looks like the same tour pack they sell for the Harley. Personally, I like the trunk on the Roadmaster/Pursuit a little better. More style to it. Just my "Two" cents worth ; )

Brian, Did the paint can SPILLLL? No, but seriously will this trunk/tourpak fit on a 2014 Indian VINTAGE? I dont have '2indians', just the one & want more storage than my tan leather bags can handle. Thnx, Frank 7/15/2022.

Can't you just put the bolts with a rubber washer back in the holes from outside and put nut on inside that way you will have the bolts there if you want to put the rack back on
