We've replaced hector's keyboard and mouse with a Guitar Hero set and made him smurf in cardboard 7 to prove that having a musical ear will carry you to high elo
"Otherwise this video never gets made". Damn now I'm wondering what kind of insane bullshit y'all have already put this poor guy through that even Hector couldn't manage lmao.
@@nekytypec2052 mine? Just google search for "Annie lol" in google images. You might need to scroll down a bit to find it, but it should be there, idk I got like like a decade ago lol.
@@frederikzinn5427 60 mph is about 100 km/h :D You can probably drive faster on your smooth roads but here in Poland we still use ones with Moon craters in them
tldr: It worked for me yesterday I split pushed yesterday as Aphelios (playing 200 Years for the first time). Kept running around to different waves to farm, only grouped for objective fights. Even though I was 2/5/2, the game turned into a coinflip and my fed Shen won us the game while I did some DPS from the backline.
@@jeh3229 I only play Garen in ranked. Aphelios is for normals when I am bored of one shotting people with Q E R and want to practice dodging skillshots and positioning
next challenge: hector teaches how to carry under influence so you dont lose lp after you get high on a party and decide to play league for some reason
In my country trash collection happens at like 7 am or some crazy early shit. Are you telling me he was doing this challenge first thing in the morning? XD
These are the guides that ACTUALLY help people at low elo. How to win when you are bad at the game and can't press advantages effectively because of it.
these guides makes me believe that i can reach challenger with knowledge of the game and good decision making even against all odds current rank: silver 2 😭
Do reverse smurfing, see how platinum players do on masters+ account with earpiece, no one has done it! (maybe because of the ethics of such content but is it really that different from regular smurfing?)
It is, boosting is bannable and there's good reason for it. When a skilled player smurfs, they make a new, 2nd account which effectively belongs to them. Doing it in reverse means by default that the account changed hands at least once potentially cause of a monetary transaction. This is not an issue with smurfing simply because the game is free, and therefore anyone who would like to play in a lower level than their currently achieved one could do so for free by themselves. By that logic, skillcapped could simply get accounts to challenger and then sell them to people on their website instead of putting so much effort into explaining things to low elo players. And riot wouldn't know if the plat player was given this account for a video, a day or forever. So yeah, it's different.
The ethical problems are similar to normal smurfing, where you put higher skill player into lower skill game making probability of one team winning higher, where as putting lower lvl player in higher rank makes it more likely for the team to lose the game, thats it. Putting lower lvl player into higher elo game for educational purposes for one game does not equal in any way boosting or selling accounts, wtf are you even talking about XD. "By that logic, skillcapped could simply get accounts to challenger and then sell them to people on their website" But that is not what they would be doing, its not equal in any way and there is no logic in your statement that is trying to refer to a logic. XD Yeah boostin etc you mentioned are forbidden and mentioned content has more problems than normal smurfing, but why are you making the conjunction to boosting or selling accounts here when is not the same thing at all?
How is this in any way boosting? No where in the tos does it say you can’t have someone tell you how to play. And no one said he had to be playing on someone else’s account. I can make a custom with 9 challengers and 1 plat and get into discord with the plat and play a game. Even if you were to do what ghost to lane does which is allow for a random player who can thinks they deserve a higher rank, gives them an account to play a ranked match on in diamond+ and see if they really do deserve higher the most you’d be done for is account sharing. Heaps of people like sanchoives play games with former Korean coach ls in his ear while he plays telling him what to do
This idea could be made by using that personalized game, they could call some challengers players and one platinum or gols and see how they perform, or how they SHOULD perform, or the MISTAKES they make... anyway, if i were skillcapped, i would do that
"We're sure everyone has been 0/5 in their lane" **looks back on match history and kicks 0/7 yasuo game under the rug** I-I swear I was just waiting for my 0/10 powerspike... damn team... winning so hard without me...
Today to simulate how a players skill and decision making degrade over time due to tilt, we have made a small incision to Hectors jugalar. As he continues to lose blood his rationality and mechanics will drop
Next video: We tought that some of you may have fps issues so we made Hector play without actually seeing the game, he plays while always watching the same frame the whole time. He also has to control keyboard and mouse with telekinesis without touching them
"What pressing problem do you think he's facing at the moment?" I actually thought the answer was going to be that he couldn't press the keys on his keyboard.
Earlier this year, I used to stream on Mixer (before it died) and I spilled water on my keyboard, so I had to play only using my mouse, and it was pretty fun, won every game, sad part was that I needed to quit the game to alt-tab
Soon we’ll be at a hector playing in Low elo with one finger, no eyes, no ears, sitting on a pile of needles for distraction, a potato powered pc while being slapped with a fish. But don’t worry because he has basic macro fundamentals
Play a game in bronze using only map as a vision (no monitor exept map). For example, pivoting Garen with attack move easy clear etc even without vision, focusing on map based macro only as Hector can't see better whats happening.
I had to play Malzahar without a keyboard once, the game was kind of glitching and my keys weren't working. I feel your pain Hector. Also my brother had to do it with Renekton.
How about no interface(except chat) and being a jungler to prove you can memorize all the camp's timer. And with proper pathing, you will stay healthy on your clears.
I'm actually interested in the decision at 10:00... Whether to try to flank the fight, or continue pushing. It's been my experience that continuing the push is correct; whenever I see anyone try to flank the fight, they're too late to the fight to matter and it's over when they get there, but pushing at least gains you gold and possibly objectives in the side lane. I do agree that you want to flank fights as an assassin, but in that specific case, the fight was too far away to flank successfully, wasn't it?
Here's the next step- insane DPI that randomly changes coupled with no keyboard. Also the bottom half of the UI is covered do Hector has to work to see his mana and has to keep the CDs in his head
i have very very gooid challenge. Let him play in diamond or below and he cant punish mistakes. So if a enemy makes mistake he cant aa or use an ability. He can only kill them if they attack him. And beofore every game start he needs to int 3 times and be 20 cs behind the enemy lane.
Hector's record: Die to enemy at the start of the game twice: 10/2/10 Mouse sensitive 10000:15/0/10 Destroyed keyboard:20/0/20 1v9: 30/0/30 Destroy his screen:40/0/15 Play in the faster rollercoaster:50/0/10 *Play while parachute:65/0/5* *CUT OFF HIS HANDS:75/0/0* *DIG OUT HIS EYES:85/-1/0* *TEAR DOWN HIS BONES:95/-5/0* *DR&W HI?s sOuL OU?=t: ∞ /?/?*
I really like your videos and I wondered if you could do a video about how to make the proper decisions (I am a jungle main) when the enemy team has a great comp and is always present when objectives spawn and apply much more pressure than the ally team. I know that drakes are overrated and we shouldn't give several kills in a desperate attempt to contest but although I ask my botlane and midlane to get lane priority when drake spawn, they never do it and the enemy team gets plenty of objectives that way. Same thing applies to baron, nobody is willing to get priority and contesting is impossible because the enemy team has too much peel/cc and outnumbering either because the ally team is split or because they some teammates recently died. There's this constant outnumbering because after I ace the enemy team we take profit of this to take a turret but some players greed and push till they die, either this or the enemy team creates their own advantage by going 5v1 with chain cc. Another fight occurs later and while one ally barely respawned, the others are dying and it's continuing to cycle. It's too risky to facecheck the jungle to take farm. You made a video about simply stalling at base and catching the waves to scale but the enemies simply take baron and push with number advantage. I got this scenario 3-4 games in a row and even with a hard carry champion like Master Yi I can't clutch team fights when the enemies have plenty of cc and hold them for me.
Ohh I understand, my teammates aren't bad, they just aren't using a keyboard for abilities! Now it makes sense.. They clearly use their keyboards to type nonstop, but they must not realize you can use skills with that thing also!
However this sadly doesn’t work in season 10 cuz as soon as you farm the sidelane and the enemy takes the midlander, the duo adc and sup on ur team afks 🤷♂️
Review your games and see what's going wrong in them. Don't be egotistic; many deaths we make can be prevented. You have to always play around your own game plan. For example: I am Ahri midlaner, but my toplane was a Nasus struggling against a Fiora 2/1. What I did is telling to my jungler (Evelynn) to focus only on ganking toplane and to forget about botlane and early dragons, otherwise Fiora would take over the game and 1v9 because we won't be able to stop her. Fortunately my jg listened. We won the game. Sometimes you aren't the one evolving the game but your team. You have to realise your win condition, be prepared to check everyhing.
Yes he did macro very well and didnt int however this is very RNG with low mechanics. if you have 0 mechanics and great macro it doesn't mean you can consistently win games just like if you had perfect mechanics and great macro. I don't believe this proves one over the other, if you want to climb you'll have to expand on both.
We held hectors family at gunpoint and for every loss he receives we won't feed them for two days to show that under pressure you can still win in low elo
Hector acceptd that he needed to be carried. I will tell you why climbing plat is hard right no: ego. When i am fed, it sometimes does not matter. My top will lose lane and refuse to get carried. The mentality these players have is "if i cannot carry, nobody can" they will proceed to contue fighting everyone, despite having no cs, and they will refuse to group when required, etc. Going tanky means giving up.
Only getting one try doesn't prove anything. You should publish the video regardless of the results. What's to say that you don't have a hundred similar challenges that Hector failed. You're only publishing the successful challenges gives us no assurity without knowing how many other challenges he attempted.
Let's be honest. Hector still had better than Iron mechanics here. Mechanics is about more than just pressing keys. It's about movement/positioning too, and Hector still positions super well.
Hector is playing mid, it's easier than playing bot with a feeder what dont know to freeze or to stay in tower when i ping to stay back... Im gold league and this is one of the problems, feeders from team, and you cant do shit if even if you fed up
Hi I have a good challenge.....Let hector play at 120 ping ^______^ xD Many subscribers here from Egypt especially play at best case scenario 60 ping and usually at 100-120 Let's see how he can do this
Instructive video but let's be real, Fizz isn't a "mechanically intensive" champion. Try something with low CD skill-shot comboing like Ziggs and it wouldn't be playable at all. The video still proves its point though.
Create a 5v5 custom game, let Hector play with four bronze/Iron players against five Platinum/Diamond players. I want to see him with a losing top, bot and jungle, that would be a realistic solo queue challenge but on the hardest difficulty.
Awesome video, I loved it. In my opinion, you should be playing these games in Silver 3. It is way more random in Silver 3. As for what to do next, make Hector AFK in Silver 3 for the first 10 minutes as a support. Lets see if he can come back and if his team wont quit on him. Lets make him call his teammates bad in chat and see if they all fall apart.
Skill Capped asks a question. I proceed to analyze the screen as fast as possible looking for ANYTHING that could slightly be the answer. Hector: “Lol forgot its trash day”
Next Hector Challenge is having to take out the trash every 3 minuntes to prove that you CAN win lane even after AFKing to take out your precious trash.
Hey guys, so today we sent Hector to the Elephant’s Foot in the ruins of the Chernobyl disaster to prove that basic macro and map knowledge can triumph over 10,000 roentgens of ionizing radiation per hour.
How to aproach a 0/5/0 lane? that was the easiest Q from SkillCapped so far. just run it down the other 2 lanes 1 or 2 times and rage quit. GG FF 15 go next. Ez
