Had my first pint of Heineken on tap from the pub yesterday. Got to say best pint I've had especially in this hot weather, very refreshing and very drinkable. Probably my go to off the tap now, very good tasting lager 🍺
just picked up a few pint cans and sippin on one now. gotta be honest when i first tried heini i wasnt mad on it but my brother in law loves the stuff and ive started to get a bit of a taste for it. i really like the cans, the bottles ive had before have tasted a bit off. and of course on tap too is nice i like the extra cold frozen taps with the fridge cooled glassware
It is world famous because of its drinkable and like me really do not like adjunct lagers, I do prefer German lagers, hop extract, use for stability, so the hops in time do not fade, leaving just malts, water and yeast, so I still will drink this than Budweiser, Coors and Miller
I like it too. I think it has a decent hop bite at the back end with a bit of sourdough biscuit in the smell. It’s interesting having it out of the can because it isn’t skunked, which is always experienced with the green bottles. A very serviceable lager if served from an ice cold can into a glass. You don’t appreciate beers like this till you put them next to Budweiser, Coors, and Carling. It blows them out of the water
Budvar blows Heineken out of the water. And there's a plethora of UK, USA, German and Czech brewers doing great lagers. Brooklyn Lager is a prime example of a well known US lager that's in a different league to Heineken.
yesterday I bought a box for less than 20 euros, I must say that I have not tried it for a long time. Damn, this beer is like a sprite, you may not like it, but you can't deny that it's just well thought out. Today another session with. Cheers!
Also mate you should be happy to know Beavertown are in Spurs stadium, Next season I am gonna try and get to a home game for the beer and the football!
You should try the 330 ml cans mate 6 for a fiver , as they are the only imported cans/bottles out there , I was surprised the pint cans were not brewed in Holland like the small ones , worth a try they are good . Cheers
Paul... On the Champions League front It was a shite final.. On the beer front Heineken is King of the macro lagers for me.. Especially if you drink it in Holland..
Who knows? I’ve had lager’s in the past and got an Apple flavour from them. Never had it with Heineken I don’t think, but if you tasted it on your palate then that’s what you tasted. Cheers 🍻
@@paulsbeerreviews hey Paul thanks for the reply mate. Paul what is your most favourite lager? I need to buy a case from the off license but not sure what to get.
