Starting at 4:58 a few gorgeous modern ensembles….heavy Chanel textiles are made for short skirts, trousers and simpler dresses. Not crazy about chains and crosses or long slinky skirts. Overall, more beautiful, rich textiles and interesting silhouettes with capes, pleats, even strategically placed pockets and buttons. Much more modern and imaginative yet cohesive collection from Virginie Viard than her previous ones except the very first one haute couture from her. That one was a sublime tribute to Coco Chanel’s spirit.
