Work with a buddy who is convinced that the best way to build muscle is to just do max weight til failure as fast as possible with every workout. Guy will get maybe two good reps out of 50 curls. Meanwhile, I'm doing half the weight, and every rep is slow and consistent. I've gained 11lbs in the last two months, he's lost six and his back hurts when he lifts. Great advice here.
Haha this is the unfortunate reality for some people. They are so ego driven that they end up doing more weight lifting than muscle building. You’re spot on brother!

Regardless of what method you do whether its feeling it, or lifting heavy, high/low reps the MAIN factor to building muscle is showing up everyday and putting in the effort for years on end... most people take 3-4 days rest per week... why? you can easily Workout everyday without taking days off. If you train 3 days a week and don't see results - double it and train 6 days... see what happens. But you need rest days i hear you say... Wrong... your training 1-2 hours a day, you have 22-23 hours to rest everyday. Get your arse in the gym and lift some heavy iron.
We are each entitled and on our own approach. If that works for you then right on brother. There are plenty of ways to approach fitness there are no one size fits all. Just like in business there are plenty of ways to make money, not just one. The key is to find a method you can sustainably do. Training 6 days per week for beginners most of the time is not ideal. Adherence and consistency are most important. So let’s try not to make the barriers too big for people just starting off. Which is who this video is targeted towards, beginners.
And if you dont are results 6 days a week triple it? Buddy in this video has some good advice, it's not about lifting weight if you're trying to bodybuilder. Gym bros will ask "what you bench bro?" One can get big benching 185lb, there is no reason to try to bench 300lb.
@@nemonucliosis absolutely right brother. There is too much vanity in the gym scene especially with social media. Leading people to do ridiculous things.
