If you wait until the end of the video and click the top right corner video link things I have full brake rebuild videos linked up there for anyone interested, if you also search the channel for brake line replacement videos I have those previously which includes full bleeding etc. if you like to see any videos on here please do let me know in the comments. Sadly I currently do not have a way to do first ride reviews, no bikes to do them on right now :)

Oh my gosh I have not seen one of my hoodies in a hot minute! Good on Toaster helping out with the video production. I use Q-tips for sure, super handy. OC: Any Valkerie content is a +. I say do it, unless you are crushed for time. I get wanting to just get work done and not film it all.

Good to see the camera team back in action! So easy, so clean when a bike is new. Another excellent video. Why are there so many variations on a theme of how to make a brake calliper? Above all why so many silly little anti-chatter springs and clips? There always seems to be something terribly Heath-Robinson about the business end of callipers, as if the engineering and tolerances aren't quite right . . . . 👍

Have to cajole her when it's cold in the garage yano :P My back was a great excuse :D Also factual and getting up and down off the floor wasn't the easiest :D Oh man that was the easiest ever I couldn't get over how clean everything is :D Thanks :) That I have no idea on, I'm all about having competition from a cost point but WHY do they mix up brakes so often for road bikes, no one uses them even close to what they can do anyway! Haha yeah tolerances can be interesting at times eh :D

Z900 pads on a z900rs. Well done. You didn't notice? Different calliper. I think you need to get the shop to do it properly.

If they are incorrect it's the shop that supplied them to me when I gave them my make and model 😂😂 So no, I absolutely won't give my bike to a shop. And they've ran absolutely fine on road and 2 track days since, so the dimension difference is probably negligible

You are correct btw, they did give me the wrong pads, however the difference is less than than 2mm in length and .5mm in thickness total, so negligible.

Great video, just wondering about the advantages of using silicone based anti seize over copper based?

Thanks! Technically no advantages I'm aware of, there is just a theory, not one I fully believe as I've never had an issue personally, that copper based MAY interfere with some ABS systems triggering correctly. So I used the silicone based as a more of a "better safe than sorry". I still use copper based on my older bikes out of habit. It's really a case of 6 of one or half a dozen of another imo, both work fine for the anti seize bits :)

Your calipers say "Kawasaki"!!! I wonder how much money Kawasaki paid tokico to hide their name under the caliper. LOL You are a strong lad busting bolts loose with one hand. C clamps work well for pusing pistons back into the caliper but I have also done the old pad + screw driver tip as well. The pitbull stands are fairly universal for both lifting at the bottom of the forks and lower triple clamp. Hmm....that might be a good vid to make.

Yeah I know I was laughing at that when I saw it :D I'd actually rather the tokico name front and centre, nice to know what you're working with. Ah I'm just large :P Not strong. Yeah I use my c or g clamps for the car, generally the bike I can just push back in thankfully. That would be good! My paddock stand is garbagio so I may have to invest in pitbull stands!!

@@TheGorillaBiker What's a "G" clamp? I assume it's somewhat shaped like a "G"?? I love my pitbull, it' lifts up the forks on the GSXR, ZX10 and Busa. Plus I have the adapters for the lower triple both GSXR and ZX10. Busa is the trickest of them all though. She's a thick girl.

It was not, like I said it wasn't exciting sadly :D Basically just an old injury that tried to ruin my life for no reason over Christmas. And to you and the family too amigo :)
