Recently purchased a 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser with just over 180,000kms. The dealer I bought it from had changed the oil, but I thought I would change it again.
Torque specs... Oil filter cap = 25 N•M Oil filter cap drainbolt = 12.5 N•m If you aren't going to drain the oil from the oil filter housing before removing the oil filter cap then there's no reason to change the small o-ring.
