Changing Toilet Fill Valve - Fluidmaster PerforMax Fill Valve

I go over the steps for changing a toilet fill valve. I am using the Fluidmaster PerforMax. It allows you to adjust the water in the toilet tank and the water in the toilet bowl for the best flushing power. If you have a high efficiency toilet, you need to have enough water in the toilet bowl, or you won't get a good flush.

This really helped with the two knobs that adjust tank and bowl height.

My fill tube has a notch that accommodates that overfill/flush tube so I won't need the clip. Thanks for the demo though, I had this clip and was wondering if I really needed it and it would appear I don't.

Nice to hear you Sir for this nice and fluent explanation, I like to know how to practically adjust the CL the critical line 1" above the Over flow Tube please ? Any one is familiar with such dexterity explain with my appreciation .

Extremely clear concise information. CL. Critical level information. Measure the height of the overflow pipe so that the CL is set correctly?

@@FIXITHomeImprovementChannel I notice adjusting the SHAFT ( using the inch markings on the shaft) automatic measure to the TOP of the unit and NOT to the CL line. Comment please.

Great video.. alotnof information on the Fluidmasters that I didn't know. My Question is, " I have a Kohler Flush Valve and it fills very slowly and I don't know if its adjustable. I've always used the Fluidmasters 400As. Is the Kohler better than the Fluidmasters??

Hi, do you mean Kohler fill valve? If so, I believe they are made for Kohler by Fluidmaster.

How do I lower fill valve cap so lid will fit well
