Changli just so smooth, natural even. The keypose, inbetweens, so much kinematics & dynamic. Imagine if Changli's aesthetic; the blindfold, the coat burn, pheonix form are locked behind signature weapon

IIRC, most of Wuwa animation even the 4* already has more flashy and unique animation than Genshin because Wuwa complexity comes from Forte, Outro, Forms and stuff. Genshin doesn't have it, even bursts are stuck to 5* characters only. HSR and ZZZ takes candles in terms of Mihoyo animation quality atm

Both are top tier design i can never choose. Chngli and yinlin are my fav from wuwa and Arl is my fav from Genshin. Both Ult are best in their game both summon an entire dimension/domain expanison in their Ult. Changli drop imapact after ult animation is chef kiss.

Wuwa designs, combat, graphics and animations are superior in every way. Genshin is like child’s play in comparison but I still enjoy its elemental reactions combat system.

I have triple crown my Arlecchino she is my favourite Genshin character lore wise and design. Father I have tried Changli attack, and they are smooth like butter. And her ARA ARA factor is off the chart. Mother Dont make me choose my parent!

Alechi esthetic is locked behind her signature weapon. This is a way to force to pull for her weapon. In wuwa, the characters have them all. Even their signature weapons are not needed or obligated.

Both have great designs, one isn't inferior to the other. Models: well a Unity against Unreal ... it's called unreal for a reason. That's why even the simplest npc on WuWa could top any from Genshin's playable characters. But then is also the reason why there were a lot / still a lot of problem for WuWa especially on mobile side. Character "feels and depth", both are calm and composed, they have that "submit to me" vibes. They can look at you and you won't be able to tell if they're plotting something bad or being nice or just looking at you for no reason. So yeah, one isn't inferior to the other Gameplay -Changli doesn't have that over flashy vfx but is complemented with smooth move sets with sound effects, makes us the player appreciate the character itself. Also v/sfx aren't tied to signature weapon for everyone to enjoy. Use a 3 star weapon, you'll still enjoy her whole v/sfx. -Arle on the other hand, her vfx are tied to her signature weapon (yeah, those who doesn't have her sig won't be able to enjoy the scythe - sucks if you ask me), she looks like a stick figure swinging another stick figure or something, movements are stiff (her spin attack, again a stick figure swinging another stick figure or something - even HAICMA from PGR is better), only great thing about her is the burst animation.

Alec is my favorite character, since I quite game on version 4.1 and see new 2 characters include Alec, I still not regret for quite bcuz it's so disappointed.

Thanks to WuWa, Genshin feels so lame now Idk what's happening on his screen in Genshin but all i know is that its sciene laboratory activties in a nutshell x100, while WuWa is actual combat (and its not just *swings weapon* either)

I like both. I never really liked the Genshin character designs. Arlecchino, Alhaitham, Shenhe, and Wriothesley are just exceptions that I like, with a lot of characters that I dislike, Venti for example. As for Wuthering Waves, I can't find any characters that I would view as designed badly. All of them are good.

Honestly I think it's close this time. People might disagree. But the animations of both are good in their own right that it can be a matter of opinion. I would say though I like Wuthering waves better in this case. I think that Arlechino is not that much different from other polar arm users, so her animations for me don't appear as good as Changi's who appears like she's fighting with detached wings. The skill imo is a tie. The burst goes to Changli.

Wuwa animations are objectively better but i prefer arle's design and the fact that she is a descendant of the crimson moon dynasty is really cool for me.

Arlecchino is an amazing, stylish character. Really fun to play. Crushingly powerful. The only thing she needs for perfection is some fanservice. Changli is better animated and more detailed overall, due to just how those both games are and ofc she's more "waifu-y", but she's just another passable character, she'll be forgotten just like Yinlin is already forgotten, as soon as some new waifu appears.

Arle cause wtf is happening with Changli's hair. I noticed this with a lot of wuwa female charas but they seem hella confused on what to do with their hair. Like even Jinshi cant pick what kind of ponytail she wanna wear, but like at least it still looks cohesive, but like Changli's is just confusing. Like i get you wanna make your character look interesting but theres interesting and theres visual vomit. Like oh i wanna have long hair, oh wait short hair, but i want a long pony oh but i want braids but i dont wanna braid my hair lemme just attach braids using this ringlets. Like girl is confused and possibly deranged. Even the clothes on girls are badly designed. Its like hmmm yes more accessories and boobs and thighs, what kinda aesthetic were going for? Ah i dunno, chinese and metal i guess. The worst part is? THE MALE CHARACTERS AND THE LOLIS LOOKS GOOD! They look cohesive and awesome. And female characters are just sexualized. Like the males too but why do they also have fashion sense? Like you cant tell me "cause its sci fi fantasy, thats why their style is like that." Then why do the males looks so fashionable and awesome?! Huh?! Why do their outfits looks cool and cohesive?! Huh?!
