??????? Both companies purchased by other companies (which is what happens in the business world) and still in existence today. British Steel part of Tata and Allied Lyons part of Pernod. No idea what Brexit has to do with anything? What point are you trying to make? Even in the Sinclair advert Amstrad owned them at that time. Companies buy other companies it's natural. We have some top world conglomerates here - Unilever, GSK, BP and Vodafone to name a few. These companies got big by also purchasing foreign companies. For a tiny country we pack our weight.
