I know it's a long time ago now but Channel 4 in the 80s was a completely different channel then. And obviously a much better one. Looking at the trailers in this you can't imagine any of those shows being on the channel now. Or any channel for that matter.
My dad got that CD Hi-Fi system from Hitachi over year before in summer of 85..........The 2 CD albums he got with it were-Brother in Arms-Dire Straits + Once Upon a Time-Simple Minds....Remember goin in to Dixon's with him- And remember this advert very well among other ones about CD Hi-Fi Systems in the 80's
Hi Neil! :) Firstly, thank you SO much for uploading these vids. I find them very comforting and enjoyable. However, your 'NMTV' logo that's inserted on all your newer videos is making viewing them very distracting/annoying. Is there any chance you would consider removing it in future uploads? Whilst every other channel around this time gives you light entertainment near and around christmas, channel 4 have got to go all middle class on your arse with the sought of things this lot would actually pay to see in a west end theatre at extortionate prices on christmas eve! And i'm sure that's David Cann in the terry's chocolate orange adverts, you know the wierd doctor from Chris Morris's jam!!!!
