A few things. Ironically, this channel update is performing better than my Super Monkey Ball video! Also, forgot to say, there's a hint for about 2 seconds in this video on what the new BDIWORH will be in December. No, it's not the MegaCD 😛 Also, wife has just got a new full-time job and is now working a lot more including overtime. She's worked three weekends in a row in November; another reason why I'm going slow. But, onwards and upwards!
If you're ever just looking for a video that'll probably do well in the analytics, I'd reccomend doing an ultimate hardware comparison of all versions of Sonic Unleashed (PS2/Wii/360/PS3/SeriesX/PC) as that seems to be a very popular Sonic title at the moment.
The fact you can keep your channel alive under your circumstances… is pretty damn impressive on its own. I solute you, good sir. Thanks for still going out of your way to get some work done for your RU-vid followers within your buuuuusy routine… This community wouldn’t be quite the same without you. Also, the Super Monkey Ball video… I’ve just had a hard time picking it up. 😀 I think I would be more likely to watch it otherwise… actually, why not? I’ll give it a looksie. And Shadowcat, thank you for your contributions as well.
I'm looking forward to seeing your new content, I'm excited for '22. I hope you, your family and everyone you love is doing great and hope we can see the content you have ready for us. Take care RHS!
You have a beautiful wife, and I say that with the utmost respect. As for content, I hope everything works out. Wouldn't want to see you leave, but I understand that time is a valuable thing and it is definitely better spent on family and friends than working all the time, so if you can't make RU-vid enjoyable anymore, you gotta do what you gotta do. Thank you for all the content you have provided.
Ah, RHS of the NHS! Top man; thank you for everything you do for us, at work and this channel, good luck with everything, to you and your family, and I look forward to your future videos.
Dang red hope everything goes well. Wouldn’t want you to go down because your hardware is actually cool. Ps: Try not to stress much about the channel. you deserve a break for sure!
I can't wait for the BDIWORTH videos and you got me in 6:13 and i was in shocked until you finish the sentence plus the game over theme playing in the background 🤣 well best's of luck on getting 100k!
Congratulations on keeping it all together redhotsonic, you have managed really well considering your wife has a new full time job plus overtime, family commitments, camera and set up issues and other important matters of life. Honestly man you should slow down a little so you don't burn yourself out. Remember that having time to chill and play video games is more important than reviewing them. I've kept my channel going for this long and i've got a 3 year old and a 3 and half month year old baby, full time job and i'm still managing to pump out one video a month but as I write this i'm no longer uploading videos on youtube. I want to spend more time with my wife and kids in 2022 and sacrifices have to be made so youtube is the first to bite the bullet. I'll just continue commenting and watching other people's videos but i'm no longer uploading, (at least not for a while).
Hey Red! Just do things in your own time. Don’t push yourself! P.S well done for working at the NHS. My mum works there too! This is why I can’t visit her as much. Soo… the situation is kinda similar
I see, hope this explains the lack of a Halloween special, I loved the ordinary sonic rom hack bdiworh, and the sonic mania 2019 Halloween Challenge. Still respect you tho.
don't worry about your views mate, because the rubbish I upload doesn't even hit triple digits straight away, lol take as much time as you need, and I hope 2022 will turn out to be great for you and your family!
You sound well motivated when you're busting your backside off to deliver such incredible content. With great standards and incredible support from us you'll someday surpass 100K for sure. Why? Because without question you're gonna seek even greater quality that'll be appealing to the eye and you my friend have got that finesse and productivity. Godspeed and I look forward to a bright future in 2022!
All this new gear and help from your wife WILL help with time. Doing everything faster will leave more time for you to relax. And remember - health always comes first. Take care, man.
This Is Very Understandable. NHS Workers Are Stressed Out And Tired From All The Work, ETC They Have Too Do. Remember Take Your Time With Uploads. Working For The NHS Is Very Stressful.
Hey! I knew your channel tjanks to your BDIWORH series. I LOVE emulation, so imagine my surprise when I knew about the flashcarts... And you can even play romhacks in a native console! I understand if you don't feel motivated. It's perfectly fine if you want to quit, just do what makes you happy. Yes? Sorry for my clunky english, I'm from Argentina lol Good luck in this busy month!
No matter what, it doesn't matter what comes at u, ur content is so good and as long as u can post videos, we can wait....as a fellow YTber, I understand
Maybe use a !? on your titles, you used that on the Sonic on Atari video and it hit 100k views, and the Super Sonic in Sonic 1 Video that hit 1m views.
You have my admiration, respect and thanks for what you do as part of the NHS....you release something whenever you want to, not to when people DEMAND it. Take it easy bud....wish you well.
It’s always nice that you’ve kept things quite tidy with your IRL stuff and the channel, and I was relieved about the current tech being upgraded to make things easier. And the honesty bundled with that helps a lot with it. Keep it up, RHS!
Synchronisation help: Do two sync pulses. One at the beginning and one at the end. Cut off the stuff before the beginning one and after the end one on all audio sources. Then change the speed of the microphone (not the camera unless the camera's mic also somehow desyncs with its own video signal) and make all the sync pulses line up. Then you'll find out that there's still somehow a consistent delay between them because there's lag in part of the camera signal so you'll have to nudge the audio around a bit. This stuff is annoying.
I've tried that before but then when my voice stretches, even that little bit, it sounds distorted and warped. And I can't make it sound right. So, I do the 30-second resync instead.
yo man get yourself a wider lens and a HDMI monitor (100 quid) for your camera, will make things way easier, it will also help with the overheating. My A6500 lasts about 30 mins when I don't use a screen, but runs basically indefinitely with a monitor. Also look at an inexpensive Comica/Rode wireless mic setup so you can just have sync'd audio straight off the camera with a lav. The desync is happening because you're at 44.1khz sample rate on your recording, and the camera is outputting audio at 48khz. Change your audio settings in audacity to be 48khz Source: I shoot with two A6500's for a living.
Hey, I have thought about getting an HDMI monitor but for the longest time, I wanted to upgrade anyway to a 4K60 and now for 2022, that is now. I didn't want to get a portable monitor. I did just hook it to my monitor behind me but it's hard to frame myself and look at the camera at the same time, haha. I did do a little hack and put a mini fan on the back of the camera and that made it last a lot longer! Although, still got caught out on battery exhaustion lol. So I got a dummy power battery which helped. Audacity is set to 48kHz already. So is my Scarlett 2i2. So, that's not the issue? Any other ideas as I would love to know 🙂
@@redhotsonic Oh yeah dummy battery will help a lot! For my main A6500 I run it with an Atomos Ninja V which completely alleviated the overheating issue but that's not the most cost-efficient option! You could run the camera into a relatively in-expensive capture card (I paid £30 for mine) and then go into OBS like you would whilst streaming and record that way. Then you get sync'd audio/video, zero chance of overheating and no chance of running out of storage or battery. The A6500 will output 4k30/4k24 when you shoot like this and it's crispy sharp! Maybe have a look at doing that?
@@HezJP yeah, I'm aware of the capture card method. In fact, that's how I'm turning this (new) camera into a webcam 🙃 The ninja v I've heard of because with my new camera, I could get 16-bit raw but that's just too over-the-top for me and adding way too much unnecessary work. Regardless, except for the shutter angle being absent on both of these cameras (so rolling/strobing/flickering on my BVM is still going to be an issue), this new camera should help with many many aspects AND speed everything up 😊
