Yes I am aware that the mic setting was off on this, far to sensitive to breathing or else the recording software was off! However I am not going to spend 4+ hours remaking this over that and messing up Dark Elves and normal Dwarfs with Chaos Dwarf! Sorry about that, will fix the setting for next video! I appreciate your understanding!
It isn´t too noticeable. Anyway thank you for the video, I don´t plan on buying the dlc anytime soon with it having such a high price, but this video still served as a nice overview to statisfy my curiousity.
Ha! I was going to mention something about it. I don't think you should re record it at all or feel bad I know from my part when I made my comment which I now deleted after seeing your comment, it was for the next time. :)
Very in depth guide indeed. As a note on magic attacks: In warhammer 3, spell resistance does not protect against magic attacks, only spells specifically, so it isn't actually a downside against normal dwarves. However... Magic attacks on weapons also don't bypass armor at all, it bypasses physical resistance, which makes it most effective against demons and any other factions that have a lot of units with physical resistance.
It is possible to turn on/off taxation. If you open the building view for one settlement, then the checkbox for collecting income from the province becomes available. It is a really useful tool to make Control a bit more manageable in newly settled provinces with the wrong kind of corruption.
So I got the DLC I started playing it did terrible watched about 10 minutes of the video realize I needed to restart it but I only have a little bit of time to play so I kept playing watched a little bit more of your video that had to restart it again so I've started at like 6 times because every time I watch more of your video I realize things that I've done terribly just because of a lack of understanding the complex nature. But per usual you've made the complex understandable!
I don't know how consistent this is but in my Zhatan campaign I got an item through an event I think that gives Unbreakable. This allows Zhatan yo have Unbreakable, Regeneration and Perfect Vigor, which seems like a really powerful combination on a character as strong in combat as he is.
This video was great. I am a complete newb to total war but have been playing chaos dwarfs on the tabletop for decades. I wanted to try it out due to chaos dwarfs specifically so I bought the base game and this. The learning curve is kind of steep. I am only stratching the surface so far, but most of the tww content that my algorithm fed me was very superficial overviews of the ressources. Thanks for the guide. Helped a ton. Anyone know any videos that go into tww3 mechanics without assuming prior knowledge? Like control vs riots, plagues and diplomacy. I'm not sure how to attack Skavenblight even if I stood above it xD I am very impressed by the scope of the thing. To have the world map and all the factions, subfactions and famous destinations and characters are really cool
Glad to help, I did similar guides for each of the factions, but for basics like that, the tutorial is probably the best in covering it. Maybe someone else knows of a pure basics video.
I really am enjoying the added depth to the chaos dwarf campaign rather than just worrying about money! Only thing is I think I might have over-expanded and struggling to build everything up and getting attacked by everyone.
