The best way to defeat Chaos Orks following Nurgle would be to start a fight over if Nurgle is either Gork or Mork. Since we all know Mork iz best.

While they are ostensibly prohibited from serving Chaos, they feed it nonetheless. Whenever Ork spores settle down and change the ecosystem, or Orks change the course of a culture by interacion with them, or they change a landscape with their "Orkiforming" abilities or constantly tinker in new forms of technology and bizarre mad science, they are feeding Tzeentch. Whenever they revel in the cacophony of their guns, or the sweet smell of destruction as their barbaric form of hyper-ecstasy ,or howl in pain or rage, or exhult in the glory of victory from collecting large amounts of teef or see a pile of skraps, they feed Slaanesh. And whenever they tear down a defensive structure, or litter the battlefield with their dead and their derelict vehicles, they are feeding Nurgle. Orks are already semi-Khornate, but they're still xenos but, they love killing, fightings, and spreading blood, and they stick spikes over all their shit. Plus they have a lot of skulls.Only thing they dont have is the rage since its all fun for them.

They are aware of Chaos, it just that their concepts are alien for them, and agaisnt their nature. The closest thing is Khorne, but he ravels in carnage and massacre in a egocentric way, as mean to an end of domination, power and climbing the food chain. Orks fights because why the hell not? Were are big, we are green, might as well get some teeth. The fun is in a good fight, so, a good WAAGH is just a big party.

I love the idea that to Nurgle, Orks are just those rascally scamps down the street who occasionally stop by and hang out with him for a bit. They occasionally rough up his garden, but he knows they mean well and are just having fun.

The best part about it? They won't fight the chaos-worshiping orks because they spread corruption, but just to show that because the follow Gork and/or Mork that they are just better.

I wonder if Orks would align with Chaos not over worship of Gork or Mork, but rather over being a part of a Klan, or that a Choas god is a Klan. So youd have Khorne Orks but theyd still believe GorkyMork were great warlords, Khorne also being a great warlord, but theyd be in the Khorne Klan instead of sonething like The Goffs.

Same. It's always bugged me that there are no examples of xenos races falling to Chaos in the modern game. There should be a named character Daemon Prince that's an Eldar or something. It just makes sense that there would occasionally be members of non-human species that are corrupted to that extent.

Slaanesh isn't just about being randy. A slaaneshi ork would become like an artist, obsessed with making his vehicle the best and fastest and his shooter the most flash EVER. Think a Flash Git amped up to extreme levels

I think a Tzeentchian ork is just a Morker. Slaaneshi speed freaks would be possible, but how would they worship? Speed Freaks worship the holy V8.

I think the key thing is the Orks wouldnt do something because their god demands it but rather because they would do it, so Tzeentch cant corrupt an Ork as Tzeentch cant corrupt Tzeentch.

Slaanesh speed freaks:They paint the back halves of their vehicles red for the speed boost, and they paint the front half purple for slaanesh, and in the process become invisible to everyone they speed towards. It's the perfect crime.

Silent Sisters can create a reverse Waaagh that kills Orks (The Beast Arises series) Tyranids don't seem to affect it based on the Octarius War and Dawn of War 2. Blackstone is unknown, but I would say yes for now.

@@robertnelson9599 I haven't has the pleasure of reading/listening to the Beast Arises series and I only played the first DoW when if first came out. I myself wouldn't have thought Vlackstone would effect Orc Waaagh! energy. I might be absolutely wrong about it but I thought the Orc psy powers didn't come from the warp.

@@robertnelson9599 The Sisters of Silence thing was more of a feedback loop caused by denying a Weirdboy from the rest of the WAAAGH!! field and then tossing him back in all at once, causing Ork heads to _literally_ explode from WAAAGH!!! energy overload.

I think it's always been stated that you have to actively pledge allegiance, if not to the god itself by its name, then at least to an icon or the idea of it. I guess knowing it's really a chaos god or not doesn't really matter. The thing is that orks just don't view fighting as anything inherently religious, it's just something they do for fun, so there's not a whole lot of opportunity for them to offer their slaughter up as worship to anything.
