Everything looks great. I would recommend to reinforce the wheel pivot-to-fork tube joint with a partial radius via tubular sleeve to diffuse lateral forces on the butted-weld sheer line. The weld looks decent, fusion is probably not an issue but it looks like you didn't wrap the welds/tie-in all the way around the tab and that gap is a potential failure point where vibration/ and directional torsion/side -loading/compression can occur and generate a crack in the weld. Hope this message finds you well.
Cool build! If you need an easy way to pollish tiny little detail parts, i cut little discs of scrap cloth, and put them on the same holder as for the dremel cut off discs, jean fabric and felt work well, then you can charge with same polishing compound as youd use on a cloth wheel on the bench grinder, they work great for tight spaces, and are basically free. And as we all know, all the good flap wheels and other grinding consumables of good quality are getting $$$ these days, hah.
I saw the video notice in my box and the first thing I saw was the Honda all jacked up I haven't laughed so hard in a long time I love it . this is going to be good when it's done
Cool build, your choice of background music might be a little monotonous for some. The home built springer front end is well done, but I’d imagine you might have more then just the front end involved with this build, let’s see all of it..
Durchaus gute Arbeit, du verstehst dein Handwerk. Bei uns in Deutschland undenkbar so etwas legal zu bekommen. Ich glaube ihr in Japan habt es da besser. Beste Grüße von einem deutschen Motorradmechaniker.
Thats a fun looking build. Please do large sections of the video with no music and jut the workshop sounds. I like the sounds of a workshop and really dont need or want the backing music. The 5sec repeating sound clip is way too much. Maybe for a 5min video, but almost 1hr?
