Koefficient is there a chance we can get an overall combo guide on the game's combo system? I'm a little confused on the game's structure as a whole. Is it the same as bbcf? Is like mvci where you only get one wall bounce per combo? Etc. Just something I thought might be a great way to help newcomers to not only bbtag but also to help people who are struggling with the transistion.

I found that when combing with Weiss, using 5B in the middle of a combo while the opponent tries switching out mid combo will catch them and you’ll continue the combo but on the tagged opponent instead :)

Yeah I can manage to punish cross bursts quite hard by using 5BB and continuing the combo

You can punish cross burst with 5AA too if they cross burst the first 5A

This is a great guide and certainly helped me understand some of the weaknesses of Weiss but also her strengths. Hyde worked really well for me as an assist for Weiss and vice versa.

Also, the reason why Weiss' j.C is worse than Ruby isn't because Weiss jumps higher. It's being Ruby's j.C has its own momentum. If you're falling, you'll "hop" up a short distance then transition into her blast. If you start a jump, she stops her upwards momentum with that same set "hop" before firing. Weiss doesn't do that, rather following the trajectory of her jump without any changes to her momentum. Weird, right?

When everyone was announced I cemented myself as a Weiss/Yosuke player. Their playstyles seemed to be good complements to each other, but when the beta came out... they felt rather lacking. Yosuke's assists are good for pressure but don't help cover Weiss very well. Weiss's assists are the same way but most importantly her icicle isn't fast enough to help Yosuke's ground game. I guess I'll wait until the game comes out so I can lab things but I'll probably pick up Es instead. I'm a switch guy so my options are limited lol.

Just started picking up Weiss + Mitsuru. These two make an incredible midrange threat together, and are super fun. Though there isn’t much mix w/out Weiss’s black glyphs

As a weiss main this tutorial was super helpful but ice pillar is underused imo in the corner u can get a cheeky little low ice pillar with a glyph cross up low if u u go from behind to in front

i don't think weiss not being able to smart combo with A is necessarily a bad thing. in p4a mitsuru had the same problem where she couldn't follow up with auto combo from max range pokes. so back then you could do 5A sweep, 5A coup droit, stuff like that to get closer or get a knock down. then once you're closer you go for more damaging options. so i think weiss might be similar.

You seem to be leaving out mentions of a lot of EX moves. Like how EX Snowfall launches them upwards as a second hit. You also didn't clarify if EX Ice Shard can leave glyphs. In Ruby's video, you left out mention of Buzzsaw Blast EX completely, how it does almost twice as many hits, along some other things.

I wonder how Weiss's ice wall/shield can work with her EX (ice shards from behind the opponent) to try and approach the opponent if they're on the other side of the screen. Ice shield/wall to cover projectiles, and then ice shards to create a bit of knock back. I'm not much in 2D fighting games, nor have I played the beta so I was wondering about this (would love to use her as a main).

How many of these combos that use assist characters can be used with different assists?

It's all gonna depend on what assist your teammate has. Combos that need setup time or need to cover recovery animations will need either an extended animation from your assist or a large popup with good hitstun. Combos that just use assist to fill the gap are usually the most lenient when it come to diff assist.

He's using Numpad notation. The numbers refer to directions. 789 456 123 2 is down, 5 is neutral, 7 is up-back etc. Special moves are denoted by a series of numbers. 236 is a quarter circle forward. 214 is quarter circle back. A, B, and C refer to the buttons. A is light, B is medium, C is heavy/clash.

pseudorider050 To add onto it, think of it as every fighters basic combo called a revolver action... (Because of the buttons set up like the chamber of a revolver. ) Starting from Square clockwise to X. A- Square B- Triangle C- Circle D- X Same applies to Xbox buttons.
