That post-cross-cutback by McConkey for 6 against Florida was the filthiest shit I’ve seen in a minute… really good fake to sell the go before breaking in for the cross, and then that 4.3 speed to accelerate away from everyone after the cutback… my god… the fact that we got this dude AFTER getting the absolute brick tower that is Joe Alt is just insane… and then you add in we got Brendan Rice and Cornelius Johnson in the 7th… foh Hortiz your straight cooking with gas 🔥🔥🔥
Everyone that wanted Nabers are probably the similar types that wanted Simmons over Herbert. When you have an average or below average QB, you need elite playmakers around him. But when you have a great QB, you don't need elite WRs because a great QB can make everyone around him better by being well protected. Ask NE Brady or Mahomes last season. Sure, Jamar Chase is 100 but if Joe Burrow was protected at least 1-2 more seconds, they probably win that SB. This was a great draft and it's so refreshing to not have that Telesco draft that makes you scratch your head in the later rounds. LFG!
We got corners that can hit and cover. LB is good in coverage and sheds blockers. Dude from Bama is is getting doubled on almost every highlight. We really got some physical upgrades
CJ is a dogg, Michigan didn't throw much. I believe that is the only reason he was still around. He killed it at the combine too. He is a smart kid with a big frame to throw at. He will see the field for sure.

I love this draft! JH and JH were cooking for JH in this draft because of Harbaugh's college scouts. Harbaugh is going old school, smash mouth football, with a sprinkle of new school "passing league" football. Joe Alt is a fabulous pick to help shore up the line and allow Herbert to complete his throwing motion. The only thing I worry about is that Herbert was so use to running for his life that he will feel uncomfortable with all that time in the pocket😂
Daniel Jeremiah aced it: I saw him more often when scouting DB's.. Good except McConkey beat him, great but against Georgia & McConkey...When receivers are in your focus while scouting DB's, you know you've got a good one... Allen,Welker, Kupp & Amandola in one person❤
So instead of getting a superstare WR we got 3 great WR a superstar tackle and other great additions ill take it Herbert has some talent to throw to now and finally be protected this season going to be different
The last highlight of Cornelius Johnson just proves why the chargers didn’t need to chase a “generational” like Malik Nabers in the first round. We got monster stud Alt to block our run game and protect Herbert, and not to mention we got dogs in this draft to fill up our wr room. If only having rookie wr worries you.. we still have free agency to get more👀

No, Slater is an All Pro LT with the game time to prove it. Alt looks amazing and is a great pick, but you have to respect 3 years from Slater in the NFL. He only allowed 3 sacks last season.
I know ppl wanted nabers or Rome so did I….but alt is straight eliminating ppl on defense bro like this is gonna be a really solid line if the interior can play cohesively either way Maxx Crosby gonna have to really earn his game checks against us now
Tarheeb has potential but he gotta get his head turned around or he is gonna need some perfect timing every single time. They will call a penalty every time if he doesn't get that head turned back towards the ball
