I'm an Alabama Grad and I Love Charles Barkley... Chuck tells it like it is whether you're black or white. He doesn't play favorites and I respect him immensely for that!!!
@ScAnDeLeZ that doesn’t prove anything. Early in his career it was Lakers and Celtics and if you were on any other team, you weren’t gonna win a title. Later in his career it was the Bulls. But when Barkley was playing, he was usually top 5 player in the league. From 1989 on, I’d say top 3 player.
@@flipperhansen5600 agree Flipper--he was unfortunately on a really bad Sixers team---once he went to the Suns with a supporting cast, he actually made it past the 1st round of the playoffs...definitely dominant from about '89 to '96...
It is crazy the Charles Barkley who played NBA with such ire is the same funny, relaxed, Charles Barkley we see today. I'm not sure many who lived his NBA career knew there was this side of him. It's been one of the best things that's happened to NBA coverage ever.
I've listened to Dan for a LONG time. The deep laughs like you hear at 12:00 mins are the best, but have really noticed them as he's gotten healthier in the last year plus. Keep them coming, DP.
I used to be a Lakers fan, and I remember I used to feel sorry for the other team... I knew they had no chance to beat us because they had to double Shaq constantly...I saw a triple team on Shaq once, it was just unfair...I dont think we will ever see another guy like him again.
Truth. The thing I’ve never really understood about the hype with Kyrie and Harden is that they really don’t make their teammates better. They take pressure off but only because they hold the ball for 80% of their possessions. Those two guys really have no other function than dribbling and scoring. Saw Kawaii and PG try taking turns scoring and it doesn’t work. More importantly though, I just don’t think it’s in their nature to share. Harden left OKC cause he wanted to be the man. Kyrie wanted out of Cleveland cause he wanted to be the man. Now both of these guys are on the same team and neither are gonna be the man lol.
Nash has no choice but to let Kyrie do whatever he wants, assuming Kyrie ever returns to play again. But if he can get them all on the floor, I really doubt touches are going to be a problem. That is so much talent, they're just going to destroy the East. In terms of playoffs, I'm less confident-- it takes stars longer to jell than less than one season.
Dan is just falling in line with all the rest who think Lebron is a flawless almost diefing. I'm not a Lebron hater but I am objective and realize that they are flaws even with great players...Dan has definitely gone corporate.
@@timbrown9796 his life suggests that he is a sell out he is the voice of old racist white men. Listen to the interview he can’t wait for the team governors to make things worse for players Charles a Kuhn POS
