No surprise Charles is selling his memorabilia to help house underprivileged people. Underneath all the entertaining gasbaggery, Charles is a good person at heart. That is why people love and defend him. He's real.
Chuck is a national treasure and one of small handful of people that can basically say whatever he wants. Such an interesting journey watching him in his playing days to now.

I'm lucky. Sir Charles was my favorite player growing up. Saw most of his games, his first step was as scary for forwards as iversons was for guards. Unguardable. His interviews were great too.

Charles Barkley was a tough guy. During his playing days he was vicious going to the basket, incredibly physical, and extremely athletic flying to the rim. I might be more afraid of prime Chuck hitting me than prime Shaq.
Chuck was a tough son of a gun, but Shaq could probably kill a man if he connected on them with enough force. I don’t think Chuck had hands like THAT lol
I doubt players of this generation even appreciate the type of player Barkley was. A monster at 6’4 both scoring and rebounding, now we have 7 footers who won’t post up a guy half their size.
MJ roasted Pippen? The videos just showed what happened (and they did). There were key storylines of the Bulls. MJ just tells how he feels, which he has the right to. It's not all champagne and roses. You have to take the good with the bad Pip....
Scottie Pippen wouldn't be hustling his book and looking for commentator gigs if he didn't fail in his investments after basketball. It's been speculated that his net worth was as little as 1-2 million at one point. If Barkley wanted to rub it in, he would have brought up this fact in addition to the "big game hunting". In Chicago area restaurants, Scottie's nickname was "No Tippin Pippen". Barkley was well aware of this and would probably tell you off camera that Pippen's financial woes post basketball are karmic retribution.
Chuck should have hus iwn raxio show or tv show and all those commenting here am sure will tune in.. After listening to this twice, laughing like i didn't heard it yet, i realized despite never been a Barkley fan back in the day bcoz growing up in another country, MJ was the reason why we kids run home from school coz MJ about to play , at 50 am now so fascinated and a huge huge fan of Chuck. And funny how that happened coz now him and MJ are not even close anymore but i only started paying attention to him coz MJ became his buddy yet he gave MJ great competition.. Now i see Chuck like no sage or playing intelligent or know it all guy, but give his opinion in a way you just respect him aftr. No CAP but not offensive. I agree with Barkley, I think Lebron is great, but I think he's not getting a title anymore, father time is undefeated, and LBJ is breaking down, before 3 seasons ago he was an iron man. I'm not a Russ fan, and don't think he's a good number one option as he can't get out of the first round. That said, he has been a good second option, and it's not all his fault they were losing.

So where was Pippen during the flu game in 97? Pip has had numerous opportunities to take the mantle from MJ. During the 97 finals game (flu game) Pippen scored 17 points with 10 rebs. While a sick Jordan dropped 38. If Pippen was truly a Batman then he would have carried the Bulls but his crying ass wants people to believe he was undervalued. Pip you weren't undervalued, you just didn't have that dog in you.
