Edwards maybe compared if He won championship 6 times Makes 10 times offensive players 6 finals MVP Defensive player of the year rookie of the year Slam dunk champion twice! Play with a bad health Man the list goes on. . .

I said the same thing that Kenny said, Anthony Edwards is more similar to D Wade than MJ. Both are 6’4” and very athletic with similar bodies and games.

People were comparing the style of the play and the competitive edge that he plays with. The crossover pull-up jumper. The fade-away jumper. His defensive prowess. (Blocks and steels) His ability to be competitive on both ends of the floor. The styles of play a very similar. People were comparing styles, not legacy.

It’s the aggression, people are missing the aggression that was there during MJ era. Today’s game is soft, you would think you are watch WNBA. Antman is reminding us about being competitive.

This guy touched on the defense and how Edwards is not there but still seems to not grasp that as being a stronger reason why the comparison is not warranted. It wasn't just the defense that MJ had coming into the league. It was the total understanding of the game, the anticipation of what the other team was trying to to do. The way he was aware and would leave his man to go and get steals and blocks because he knew the offensive players wasn't expecting him to leave his man to do so. He was able to this this because he knew the man with the ball had no intentions of passing to his man he was leaving to go and get the steal or block the shot. This is something not in existence in today's game. Basically Edwards and these other guys don't compare because of the elite basketball IQ MJ came into the league with. He could dominate you on the offensive end and shut you down on the defensive end. Until someone is able to display that the comparisons won't fit.

Antman has the "Jordan" thing in him. But, at this age, Michael took over the game(ask Bird). Yes, he was a chucker, but he would do whatever it took to win with what he had. I grew up in the Chi watching MJ and Jordan is the standard. Ant Man reminds of us MJ with his attitude, competitiveness, athleticism, and willingness to compete on the defensive end. Most importantly getting other players to follow him and raise their game. I've never seen KAT compete so hard on defense.

Michael Jordan was not compared to David Thompson when he came in the league, I understand marketing , but big business on a certain level has messed up the game Remember it was Derrick Rose, Zion Williamson, Tray Young, and Jae Morant!
