Its very interesting Mr. Martinet mentions Tara Strong as his on screen hero! My previous videos I was watching at this point in time were other voices actors one of them being Tara Strong herself! How uncanny. Mr. Martinet has the job of a lifetime, thanks to him for bringing joy to the masses using his gift. And thank you for providing another video displaying himself and his talents.
I got a photo with Charles at the Vancouver FanExpo a couple days ago, and he was honestly the most sweet and friendly guy ever. Even after all the photos we already got, he offered to take extra photos with me with my cosplay mask off, which I oblidged to. The whole time he was happy, he did the Mario voice, and was just all-around amazing. Genuinely lovely and fun human being.
I’m going to the Denver one next week and plan to meet him there. I met him once before at Collect A Con Denver and he was such a sweet man, totally worth meeting him again.
I think Charles will still voice Mario but in Sandbox Mario games, my friend met Charles at fanexpo Vancouver and Charles told him that he would lend his voice to Mario in Sandbox Mario games (3D Mario, Mario Maker games) so there is a chance we could hear Charles's voice in the upcoming 3D Mario game for Switch 2 and Mario Maker 3😊
