Just listened to John Macarthur on forgiveness. This ties into what he was saying. That if God can forgive my sin in an instant, that would have resulted in eternal domination, then we should immediately forgive others.

@@stevensuich5565 Have you ever heard of the phrase "God works in mysterious ways" besides I'm not tryna seem like it was okay for the 9 people to die, but ever since they did these three woman were able to forgive the shooter instead of keeping a grudge in their hearts. You can't tell me it's not God that guided them and encouraged them to forgive someone even though they took the life of the person they loved dearly. I will never understand why people will always hate Jesus/God when his Will is teaching the right way for us to live happily. Also, tons of other Bible Prophecies came true and there's no doubt that Jesus coming back isn't. Steven Suich Nowhere in the Bible does it say that that things won’t happen. In fact it goes out of its way to inform us that things will get bad. I mean look at Jesus right? He is the son of God he is a part of God and when he came here he was beaten he was mocked and eventually he was murdered. To suggest that nothing bad will ever happen and to use that as a justification for not having a personal relationship with God doesn’t make any sense. This forgiveness should’ve been impossible. They went to Bible study and people died. That sounds like impossible but instead by Grace what we’re seeing is possibility is forgiveness is love. How can you look at this and not be moved? How can you look at this and not see strength ? How can you look at this and not see hope?? Instead you mock and that’s sad. It’s 2019 and where is you’re heart at? Praying for you

Thank you to these women and their church. Life is awful sometimes (or a lot of times). Without God though, the universe would be a chaotic mess. We have free will, so bad things happen, but through God's love and grace, we can find good things in this world.
The only way you can truly forgive is to understand how deeply Jesus Forgives you, and how he died for you to make a way for you to go to heaven to be with him... These women know. - only God can help with something so painful.

I seem to remember that they have to be a brother and they also have to ask for your forgiveness and repent first. Also, whatever you bind on earth is bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

One of the surviving ladies lost her beautiful son (she watched him take his last breath ) & aunt yet managed to forgive.That is one of the most beautiful humans on earth. What strength. Example,Role model. When President Obama sang Amazing Grace @ the Pastor/husbands funeral...whew! Powerful. I miss him so much as our president.

What's even sadder than this event is how these ladies have been deceived about what the bible says about forgiveness. It says the the person you forgive should be your brother, and that they should ask to be forgiven. To publicly forgive someone who did something this heinous, with no remorse, is not wise. That type of forgiveness should be private, to help you cope with your loss and not lose your mind. Remember, it says whatever you bind on earth is bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth is loosed in heaven. If you forgive something like this on earth, they won't have to account for it when they face the Most High, because you've pardoned them.
I don't agree at all on ur take on forgiveness. The fact that those women are able to forgive a monster like him glorifies the Lord and who the Lord is...love. Remember, love conquers hate - the Bible is clear about that. As for ppl not being held accountable to God....oh, yes they are.. whether we forgive them or not. The Bible tells us that vengeance is His. It doesn't say that God will only take vengeance if we don't publicly forgive. You're not realizing that when we offer our forgiveness, we get our peace of mind back. We as fleshly humans need that, not God. God has that, he is that. Peace & love. That being said, it's an absolute miracle that they are able to forgive that monster. Praise the Lord!
This is not true at all. Because the power of judgement doesn't lie with you, it lies with Him above. The only thing we are called by Jesus to do in this situation, is to forgive. Forgive like He forgives us for all our sinful nature. Your last line is especially untrue; who we choose to forgive doesn't affect their 'status' at all when they meet the Most High. For who are we to arrogantly believe that we can determine how He judges? However, instead it affects the way our soul receives His Word and His love.
@@felixwong6947 I define judgement as sentencing someone to the abyss. Nothing I said implied that my decision to forgive or not forgive is directly connected to someone's final judgment at the throne. As far as my last statement, it only pertains to that particular incident being held against them, or not. They would still have to answer for the rest of their life. If you forgive them for something, that incident would be stricken from their records, if you will.

arnold sanders it’s not meant to stop anyone from doing anything because you really cannot stop anyone who is determined to murder. It’s for survivors to finally experience peace. It has nothing to do with the killer and everything to do with the survivors. It’s stopping the poison that is in hatred and loathing and vengeance. It’s about letting go of the room in your heart for anger and hatred to make room for healing and true peace.

It was a very hard one for me that was my mother and father‘s Home of worship my father’s funeral was there and he is buried in the cemetery there very hard for me

God allows things for reasons we don't always understand. And he wasn't the one who committed the crime. But he promises to be with us if we follow Him. Once you experience the presence and love of God, you know it's real. I hope you experience that some day
I think this sounds messed-up. This man is going to get the death penalty and these women are going to live on. This story bewilders me. It’s like we are glad you’re going to be killed because you killed. I don’t believe in the death penalty for anyone unless it’s terrorism. Whoever I am. I learned that everyone goes to heaven, but there’s certain parts. John Lennon sang a song about peace. I don’t believe that the messiah exists because we still have war.
