Anorexia and bulimia are also mental conditions where the person (usually a female) firmly and totally believes their bodies are fat when in reality they can be almost skeletal with a lethally low BMI -- who are we to argue that an anorexic or bulimic person's "reality" is wrong? Why shouldn't they be accepted and their views of themselves "affirmed"? Perhaps we should even help them along and let them starve themselves to death without ever asking them to face the fact that they are suffering from a serious disorder and that their brain is concealing reality from them by giving them a distorted -- and false -- image of their own bodies? .
Haha exactly. And I'm sure there's at least one scientific study out there saying those "illnesses" are actually healthy. Like I'm sure there's one study proving being anorexic is healthier than being morbidly obese. Who are we to say she's too skinny...now we're thin shaming them.

They just say there is sex and there is gender identity, but this actually just pushes back the objection: if there is gender identity, why not race identity, age identity, or ability identity? These could just as easily be "proven" to be "valid" as gender identity in the studies that have been published, applying the same rationale, or lack thereof.
@@L-8in the UK the word Sex has been entirely replaced by Gender in all government documents and everywhere else. So in the census they ask which gender I am but they don't know which sex I am because they don't ask.
In my brain/head I`m 25. My body however tells me a very different story. It says `grow up and stop acting your shoe size`. I`m 60, very broken physically and tired due to a lifetime of hard work. One thing though, I`m so glad I have lived the life I have in the time that I have. I`d hate to be young now.
Our generation ( I’m 68 ) may be the 1st to find we don’t want to be younger. If thats correct that is a bigger than life story. Think of the novels movies that could be created and IF that’s correct our opinions we have to share could be considered totally honest and sincere and not the product of a jealous old coot. As a matter of fact I don’t even want to be fifty and hang around to see this crap come to fruition. I pray and hope for the best at all times because the innocence of youth should be preserved and enjoyed for eternity. It represents the best in all of mankind. Yes true. In my head I feel like I’m twenty five but in my body it feels like a 69 year old from living and being and working most of my life. I didn’t have an easy childhood and started working at seventeen so it’s been a long haul but I’m happy and feel young most of the time especially on good days when my arthritis decides to take a break from giving me pain.
They do not believe in objective truth. They are all about "living your truth or my truth". There is only one reality, therefore, there is only one truth. One correct way to accurately describe reality, not 10,000 ways based on 10,000 different feelings. Reality does not care about what you want it to be or how you identify it, it just is.

I always find it amusing that people like this student are the gate keepers of what's allowed to be changed and what's not. If you say that you can't change your gender based on how you "feel", people like this student say you're bigoted. But if you "well can I change how old I am based on how I feel?" they say "Absolutely not, that's crazy." Why is it that what they say is allowed to be changed is acceptable, but other things are not acceptable.

I wore that uniform AND was in the first group of women to be trained exactly like the men. Every thing they went through, we went through. Everything they were taught, we were taught. And boy were we hated !!!!! You see it was well into the Vietnam war, and the military was running out of men, so they started training women to take the MOS the heretofore only men could do, except full on combat. But we were trained right up to the line. Men saw us as taking the MOS that was non-combat and pushing more men into combat and the high potential of being killed. We understood that, believe me, we got it. Our Drill Sergeant was fresh from Vietnam and he hated us too. Training women who would never see combat, all withholding all the information and experience he could teach the men, hopefully keeping them safe. He used to call us “Laaaadies” as a slam. But when we graduated with very high grading, he took off the goddess Athena brass we wore on our dress greens and summer weight dress uniforms and put on U.S. Brass….. just like the men. And he told us, “Today you are no longer women, today you are Soldiers “. We won !!! He respected us, all the hard work, hiding our tears. BUT LET ME TELL YOU….. YES WE WERE SOLDIERS…..BUT WE NEVER STOPPED BEING WOMEN. It doesn’t matter what you do in life, you are still the “you” that you started out to be. We started out as women, we finished as women….. just more dangerous 😊😊😊

If a female decides to walk around without a shirt on and has large breasts, and the police consider it indecent exposure and arrest her can she just say in her defense, when in front of a judge, she identifies as a man? As a straight white guy who now self identifies as a gay transgender woman of color I support and stand in solidarity with those who acknowledge my recent improvement on the dance floor. My only concern is that I used to love county music but now I can't stand it.

My daughter has a eating disorder, anorexia; in her mind she believes she's fat. So, she believes she should have a stomach bypass operation. Should I encourage then to have the operation since her mind is the determining factor in her well being according the the ExtrememLeft?
