Katherine Wright yup - I remember this so clearly because it was one of the weirdest experiences of my life. (FYI this is back before she turned her name to Charlotte and moved to LA. At this point, her name was Briar and she lived in Toronto, like me) So, My two (super shy) friends and I left a party to go to Starbucks, and a girl and her friends is blocking the path to the counter. My friend politely asks if we could get past, and the girl whips around and says, dead seriously, “do you know who I am?” She didn’t go to our school, and we weren’t exactly the popular, ‘in the know’ Toronto kids, so we were just like “???? Huh?” “I am Briar FUCKING D’Alessio.” Then she gave us a head nod to pretty much say “scram”. It was honestly so surreal like wtf? Terrified, we left the Starbucks, then a few minutes later, burst into laughter. Who the heck was this insane girl and why did she talk like a mean girl from a badly written teen drama?? I thought it was so funny that I told different people this story over the years, so you can imagine my surprise when I find out years later that she’s now a famous Instagram model with a different name and with follows from some of my favorite RU-vidrs!
Nerezza Green yeah, I already said I know she wasn’t famous at that point, that’s what made what she said so ridiculous. She was big on the Toronto ‘popular’ scene, but she acted like that made her a celeb. Idk what she was like at school during the day, or if you even knew her properly, but this sure was what she was like out with her friends at night. It was at the Starbucks by Branksome after a branksome girls party that she and some others tried to crash - you should ask her about it 🙃
