“Do you find it sad
when girls cant exist
without being in a
relationship?”
“Do you miss being
in a relationship?
You talked about not being
close to your parents,
so whats your idea of
family? And is your
sisters relationship
to your parents
identical to yours?
Cause she basically went
through the same
experiences growing up
with them as you did. If not,
why die you think thats the case?
Tips on how to
get a guy to like
you?
“i always end up saying
the wrong thing or
nothing at all.
how do i keep a
conversation going
with friends whom i havent
talked to in awhile, a complete
stranger or someone older than you.
What should i do when i feel stuck
in a convo?”
"Are you Bisexual?”
“Dude I feel the same about being In a dissociative state of mind. Do you have any advice on getting out of it? Hope you’re taking care of yourself ”

I think i feel a type of dissociation that’s called derealization. It started in the pandemic. I feel detached from my surroundings, like it’s all a little foggy, like im in a dream. I don’t feel totally here or present, and when i talk to ppl, they seem a little unreal. I still can’t quite understand why this happens..

I dissociated for 6 months after I stopped smoking pot cold turkey. Being on an antidepressant at the time made it worse. It was extremely scary but eventually it went away. What I did to help myself may be very different than someone who is actually diagnosed with a dissociative disorder. Exercise, mediation, hot baths, and socializing with people helped the most. Also, taking brain healthy supplements like fish oil was very helpful. I also read success stories on forums of people who have healed 100% to give myself hope.

I know the dissociation struggle too well. What’s helping me: allowing it to be there (sometimes it’s a distraction from pain underneath), meditation/slowing down, and nervous system regulation work to send signals of safety to my brain (visualizing how you want to feel can also help to reprogram the subconscious. If you still end up struggling, also check out IFS therapy (can be really helpful to process the pain that’s underneath the dissociation) and somatic experiencing…both are trauma healing modalities that can heal the root of symptoms. Sending love ❤

Charlotte is completely fascinating from a psychological POV. She's not co-dependant. She's able to be emotionally detached on demand. She experiences periods of disassociation. This allows her to be extremely independent. This also allows her to be extremely creative and share her innermost thoughts on RU-vid. Creators who do well on youtube will usually have similar characteristics to Charlotte. All the doors in her mind seem to have been opened and the data can flow freely. It gives her a powerful charismatic presence. Confidence is the absence of fear. Familiarity reduces fear. It's as if Charlotte is so familiar with her world that she cannot see it anymore and thus she can't fear it. Charlotte kind of reminds me of that girl in the movie "Lucy." Directed by Luc Besson and starring Scarlett Johansson. If she ever decided to try acting, I'd recommend roles like that.

I disassociated from the age of about 7 till I was 17. I got very serious about meditation practice and began to do it consistently and the traditional way (legs crossed prostrated up) and it slowly went away. Growing up definitely helped but that kept me grounded

Love your story....Love your family....Nothing is wrong, your parents are on the road to finding inner peace.(self isolation = self reflection) For you, don't worry about what others say, what people call dissociation to me is a road to spiritual enlightenment. The spirit is discarding every unwanted things from the mind that is holding you back and preventing you from growing spiritually, mentally and physically.... The symptoms of dissociation you are facing occurs when the body(flesh) is trying to fight the spirit.... What to do ? Sit down take a deep breath and meditate on this(let the holy spirit take control) . Do this and you will be free....

My parents were also selfish people when i was little, but at least i have my mom still helping me a little bit while im trying to study. But when i lived with her she used to physically attack me and was completely out of control. She was beating my head against the furniture and a wall. She beat me up many times but this was the last time she had to move out afterwards cause i was basically forced to go to the police. And my dad he completely doesnt care. He never wanted to give me money while i was studying. Lately he left his wife who had a tumor in her head for y young 25 yo girl. My dad is 50. I totally know how you feel. It sucks not to have loving caring parents who are good people inside. I always used to be good friends with people cause i had that mother figure in them. That strong relationship with my girlfriends. But women can be shady. And now when all my girls have kids themselves i feel alone again. Im also in no relationship. And not looking. Because i believe love happens when it happens and if it doesnt i dont need something just for sex. You are such an amazing person for sharing your thoughts and advice it is worth so much. I hope you will have good people in your life who will be loyal to you and who will apreciate who you are and that jealousy wont get in a way beacuse youre so pretty.
