It's Charmed finale! The last episode of Charmed... The Charmed ones and Billie find Christie and Christie throws fireball at Billie, but Billie orbs it back to Christie and she dies. Then Billie is very sad and she cries.
I think what made it more emotional was that even though she knew that Christie had been programmed to fight to the death she wanted to maintain some hope that she could get her back.
True but I think Billie was hoping that she could somehow get her sister back. When she repel's Christie's fireball I think it's more of a repeling her attack rather than trying to vanquish her. Also you could see in Phoebe and Piper's eyes that they could sympathise with her pain cos of what they went through with Prue.
I think this scene would've been infinitely cooler if Christie and Billie had an actual fight instead of everyone dying in the space of 15 seconds. But because of timing constraints I can see why it ended like this.
I mean yeah at that time the show was cancelling that’s why it was a rush at least this is one of the shows that didn’t leave in a cliff hanger cause that would have pissed me off I agree with u when u said you wish they had more in this scene
From Piper, Phoebe and Paige's facial expression that they were angry with her for her actions but they could sympathise with her pain from Prue's death
Never did understand why Christi sided the triad. I get she evil but didn't she kill one for killing her parent. I wonder why billie didn't go further back and save Christi back when she was still young innocent and good?
The charmed ones are not mean to Billie for not comforting her because she just killed her sister and the only family she had left. So there was nothing they could do to make it better but just let her cry it out.
They should have deleted her fake crying scene! It was too bad!!!! This looked like a scary movie scit! It made people cry more than it made us feel sorry for Billie!
emma coundley She had a choice. If this was prue and lets say phoebe making the fire ball Prue would of never threw it back at Phoebe like the pardon my past episdoe. In this case dumain was already vanquished so she would of just flung it to the side. Bille could see her sister was about to attack before she even pushed it forward why not fling the fire ball to the side or even fling Christy so she was knocked out. You wanted your sister so bad but a couple of weeks later you kill her. Yes she was saving her life but if it was sisters it wouldn't of happened. They would of saved their sister. I'm sorry but I feel no sympathy Billie.
Christy didn't even try to kill her properly. I think she was just trying to escape. If she wanted to kill Billie she could of easily used her power from where she stood and made her fully burn like she did with the demons that warned the sisters about the triad and the potion that Piper threw at her. She could easily done that by herself if her own fireball was enough to kill her. So i don't think she was even trying to kill her she was just pissed off. If the fire ball had hit Billie she would probably be crying.
Kbitch Kal prue phoebe and piper Paige have a bond... christy was kidnapped when she a kid and turned evil... and by the time Billie found christy the bond was broken so they had to re-bond but all christy did was manipulate Billie to turn Billie evil... the only way to save christy is to go back in the past and prevent christy from being kidnapped... like Chris did to save Wyatt and plus prue didn’t kill phoebe because phoebe past self was inside phoebe future self body.

Fully agree. Big Bang Penny? Definitely up her alley. Charmed Billie? Not so much…. Decent… but not so much…. To be fair, this was early 2000s. I like to think she’s improved since this show as a more serious actress, even if I think she should consider sticking to sitcoms, comedies and lighter genres.
No…. That was some bad acting. The sentiment was there, and I think everyone can definitely pick up on what she was aiming for….. but that was some awful acting.
That's the only thing I believe to be messed up most of Billies script was about finding Kristy, and she ends up having to vanquish her out of self defense
That's terrible they couldn't get her back. She was brainwashed they didn't have the time to deprogram her and she had powers she would have never stopped.
Okay I felt bad for Billie in this scene to be honest she had the vanquish the last bit of family she had left. And no the Piper, Phoebe, and Paige are not bitches because it was to late to save Christy she was to far gone. Yes I know Billie irritating at times but come on Guy's you have to admit this was sad.
Somebody in the comments said billie had no choice and I replied saying she did. She didn't haft to kill her sister. fling the fire ball to side and knock Christy out. Take her home and either strip her powers or get someone to help Christy. So I said I felt no sympathy. I hate Christy but it didn't need to happen that way. I said if this was Prue and Phoebe with the fireball Prue would never throw it back. Paige wouldn't either. So I really don't feel it for her.
Kbitch Kal the difference is that the Charmed ones always knew their sister was being controlled by something or someone else and once that was eliminated they would return. When Christy refused to end the battle once the triad was vanquished and then tried to kill her, Billie had the heartbreaking realization that Christy herself was evil and wasn't going to be redeemed. Billie knew even if she blocked her attack and spared her sister Christy would only continue on to harm or kill someone else. Billie's wasn't just heartbroken over killing her sister, but that she finally faced the fact that Christy was evil and she couldn't save her. Billie really didn't have a choice but to throw that fireball back at Christy if she was going to save herself and others.
cisio64123 Which is why she is crying hysterically not just her sister being dead but that everything is over releasing the sadness and grieve over the revelation of her sister’s true nature
My thoughts exactly, also imagine the situation from Billie's point of view; looses her sister when they were young doesn't know if she's dead or alive, discovers her again after several years, due to the emotional attachment issues she doesn't want to loose her again (also it makes it easier for Christie to turn her). Eventually she discovers that not only has her big sis been turned she now programmed to fight to the death. If anything I don't think that she intended to kill her, just stop her, but she must've known deep down that she'd be left with no other choice.
Christy was beyond redemption the moment she was kidnapped. Billie had a hard time realizing that and she had to make the hardest decision in her life: Letting Christy go
She was already dangerous from the fair beginning even if they want to save her it was too late she pure evil in her eyes she wanted to use her powers for evil Billy had no choice to Vanquish her own sister she wanted to use that ring for evil to go back in time

I don't get why people would expect the sisters to comfort someone crying over their sibling. You can't say anything to that without them looking at you grudgeful. I know I would have. At that very moment all Billie can do is cry.
at first i loved billie,she was so nice and in that episode where she was dying from the magical disease i felt so sorry for her but when she found christie i hated christie and i wished she didnt exist and i wished that it was just billie then when billie started to turn against the charmed ones and going with her sister i hated billie too
I always felt bad that Billie had to vanquish her sister. Evil Christy is no different than evil Wyatt. Wyatt became evil from running from Guidian (?). Christy became evil after being kidnapped by the triad. Good magic was in her blood. Evil Cole got multiple chances. I understand that they needed an ending but this was always super sad to me. Christy never got a chance in my opinion.
@LightLife4 I always thought wyatt was turned bc of the trauma of constantly running from Gideon, being trapped in the underworld, and also having to fend off demons. But the sisters and leo saved him before it got that far.
@LightLife4 yea but point is their situations are similar. Difference is no one was able to find and save Christy. She remained with demons for 15 or more years. I forgot how old she was when she was taken and how old she was when she was finally "rescued"
I will forever hate that this is the moment she realized her sister was beyond redemption. It broke me so bad. Like yeah, I was still a bit miffed that Billie betrayed the charmed ones after they took her in and treated her like a daughter or niece, but NOBODY should have to face this kind of betrayal, heartbreak, and sorrow in that short of time. But it does make me wonder, Billie could have projected herself into the past and saved her before this even got to this point….. why didn’t she? (Poor writing on Kern’s part tbh, but this is also the bastard who kept Phoebe practically naked for four straight seasons so…)
It was said that Billie tried to go back multiple times and save Christi before she turned evil, but since it was Christi’s destiny she would always reach her once it was too late

I will forever love this episode but Christy had crossed the line with Piper and her sisters she even didn't care what happened to a Lil child if he had got hurt that's when Billie was kinda realizing what has happened too u after she said that she was beyond redemption of course they could have came.up with a way of stripping her of her Powers instead of killing her off she could have had a trial with the Tribunal and got her Powers takin away and that could have led to them giving Phoebe Powers back in exchange for Christy's Powers and saving the world from the triad but I know killing her off had to be done because her and the triad was the big threat I wish they could have came up with something better but Billie did lose her entire family in the same month so that kinda sucked for her but at least she was able to make amends for the things she done and make up too the sisters of what she did
Or she’d have burned the potion before it hit her. Had it worked, it would have stopped her from magically harming anyone but doesn’t mean she couldn’t still make potions or mortally wound them. The way I see it, Christie was taken before she got her powers and most likely used them for evil instead of good so she became permanently evil. The whole mythological window thing like when Paige chose to be good just in time to remain good before the source could claim her. They seemed to do some nods at the past. The way Christie was killed by Billie reminds me of how they accidentally killed Dr. Williamson when he had all three charmed powers in his blood and it made him crazy. They tried to bind the powers but he destroyed the potion. He was also about to kill them but Prue turned the saw blade back at him and killed him.
Yes, i celebrated when Christie died, felt really bad for Billie now there's no one left in her family, but i'm sorry, the crying part was not the best acting ever
I've never thought about this before, but why do the sisters just stand there. Why not try comforting her? At least one of them, like Paige or Phoebe. Maybe not Piper due to how events were playing out at the time i.e. she did not long before witness Paige and Phoebe dying partly because of Billie's actions. But still.
I think Billie didn’t what to do this to her sister she wanted to help her but it wasn’t working out this is what happened at the end between them and Billie face it she ends up crying I am sorry just remember you did the right thing and being a apart of the Charmed Ones who helps protecting people from evil
So recently I have been wondering. Unlike past and future dumain being vanquished, only future christy got vanquished. What happened to past christy? The fight happened before anyone summoned the hollow.

Why didn’t the “tribunal” just stripped christy of her powers for miss using them... they took phoebe’s power like nothing. Plot hole to say the least, I love charmed but I wish there wasn’t such inconsistencies with where witches powers come from. First they say the elders give them their powers. If that’s true they would have known about page all along, because they had to have given her a power.
That fake crying is so obvious, but again Christy was a monster. The scene would've been better if Christy "played along" with Billie and then incinerated her. Then Paige would remote orb Christy before Billie was fully incinerated. That would be cool.
Ok. So the two of them know how it's like to loose beloved sister. I expected more sensitive from them. At the end of the day Billie helped them and she payed greatest cost for that.
Yea right after betraying them and trying to kill them. You don’t get credit for helping them fix a problem YOU started. After everything they did for her to just side with her sister who was obviously manipulating her and then try to kill them hell your lucky they let you live.

It's so strange, when you watch charmed back these days all the special effects look so corny and obviously fake, but when you were younger and before technology improved to what it is today, it used to look super realistic XD The only thing that looks realistic on Charmed still now I'd say is the Whitelighter powers and Prue's telekinesis. XD
Crying Tomatohead I don’t really think christy & billie were that powerful then the charmed ones because they could use the power of 3 to get the hollow but billie & christy had to steal Wyatt’s powers to get the hollow. Plus I think billie should of been stripped of her powers after the battle because I know she helped but it doesn’t change the fact she actually did some pretty bad things... I get people Also say that piper,phoebe, Paige also complain about helping innocents but you have to think about how they feel they can’t really have mortal friends because it would put them in danger so all they really have is each other plus Leo, Henry,and piper kids and also phoebe pretty much gave up on love long ago because when she brought back old phoebe and kid phoebe the old phoebe was real bitter I’m guessing because she was heartbroken and never found love because of demons and what they caused. Plus when billie came in their lives they finally had a friend they could actually share witchcraft with not just with sisters but a friend and then in the end get betrayed that’s gotta hurt alot... everyone thinks just because their witches they have to be perfect they make mistakes and hurt people but there mistakes they are mortals too not just witches...
I hope the new charmed doesnt have a ridiculous ending like Charmed Season 7. Despite my dislike for this whole Billie & Christy Story. Charmed ones were supposed to be the most powerful witches ever, and in the whole of season 8, they stepped on that theory. Hope to see some fighting & real action scenes in new series, and not three sisters walking around in short skirts and high heels in battle.
The in universe answer to this is the fact that, while even dead, Prue was still connected the power of three. So her being dead, im assuming, weakened the p^3. Even with Paige joining in.
Precisely, as I understand it, the power of three was originally meant to be prue, piper and phoebe, so when prue died, she acted as a hold on their power, a check on it because their destiny wasn’t unfolding the way it was meant to Yes Paige was part of the power of three but because prue wasn’t absolved of it, it was technically spread between four and hence weakened it so billie and Christy were more of a threat to the charmed ones than they should have been.
Give her a break it was probably her first time acting and at first it sounded real and that's how some people cry in real life especially if its someone they loved

Everytime i see this part of the episode i get mad at the charmed ones, for just sitting there and doing nothing. Like 3 of you have powers that can block/ (deflect) fireball . Billie has two powers she could have used. Telekinesis instead of pushing to her sister she could have deflected it out to the opened area they were in. Her projection powers she could have turn the fireball into something else like wyatt did with piper's power(fireworks, and flower petals) and she could of change her sister thoughts on killing her too. Piper could have frozen the damn fireball in the area Paige could have telekinetic orb the fireball some where else. My point is billie should feel stupid along with the charmed ones for not to use their powers to save Christy
She didnt deserve to live. Over here writing a paragraph about them saving arguably the most evil female on the show. She stole wyatts powers, tried to kill them several times, was raised by the triad badically, and helped effectively kill paige and phoebe
